life was rough on Elizabeth, adapting to her new life and in 5 grade. It didn't help that she was half vampire, and that her dad mysteriously disappeared last week. she had way to much to worry about and did not want to go to school today, but of course her mother wasn't going to let her stay home and miss an "exciting" day of learning. It was 7 in the morning and Elizabeth could hear here mother clomping up the stairs. It was no use to try and stay in bed her mother would stay in her room until she got up. It was was a corny shirt, Elizabeth would admit, but it was the first shirt she found in her closet, and it went great with her shorts. she heaved her backpack over her shoulder and whispered " great another day at school."
