False Appearances

"It was great meeting you," smiled Harry as they all stood to go back home.

"Thanks, it was great to meet you too," I smiled.

I have just spent four hours with One Direction and I am pleased to say that I kept myself in check. Once the door closed as the 5SOS boys left with 1D to show them out, I leapt up from the bean bag I was sat on and started bouncing round the room squealing and doing a happy dance all over the place. I then fell onto the couch with a sigh, my hair everywhere and a huge smile on my face.

My euphoric moment was then interrupted by the sound of a throat clearing. Fuck. My. Life. I slowly sat up to see Niall and Harry stood there, holding in laughter for a couple of minutes before Niall composed himself enough to say, "Erm, I forgot my phone," and then he headed over to the black iPhone on the window ledge to turn and leave with Harry, both of their shoulders shaking.

That's just my luck.

A week later, I was sat with Calum in the living room, arguing over who was better: Andrew Garfield or Toby MacGuire? I thought Andrew Garfield, he thought Toby MacGuire.

"Are you kidding me? Toby MacGuire is the original. You can never beat the original," he argued.

"Actually, you can and that is exactly what Andrew Garfield has done. He is amazing," I exclaimed.

Then that just started a heated argument that was full on nonsense and us just using large hand gestures and practically screaming at each other - not in a mean way. As you can tell I have settled in comfortably with the boys so far, although I still act a bit awkward with Luke, otherwise, things are going quite well. I have grown especially close to Michael, in a platonic way - obviously - because he kind of reminds me of a mix of Lola and Paige; he is sarcastic and straight to the point: like Lola but likes all rocky music and quirky styles: like Paige.

I kept to my word with my mum and spoke to either Paige or Lola or both at least once a day.

"Hey! What's going in here?" Interrupts Ashton, quirking his eyebrow.

"Nothing." Both Calum and I say, quickly at the same time.

He rolls his eyes, "Whatever, so, Chloe, I am getting in the shower and I will be out in about fifteen minutes. Will you have everything for my hair ready then? Just so you know, I don't mean in a demanding, snobby way, just in a curious way," he explains.

"Err, what for exactly?" I question, quite confused as to why he needs his hair doing with nowhere to go.

"It's the 18th," he says as if that will get me to remember.

"So?"

He sighed, "You forgot didn't you?"

"Forgot what?" I said, slightly frustrated.

"It was Amelia Lily's 20th birthday the other day, and she is having a party to celebrate and we are invited because we know her through One Direction and met her on the two tours a few times," he told me.

"Oh, well, I don't think I knew in the first place, but, yeah, I'll get all of the hair stuff ready for you guys," I said, standing up.

"Make sure, you leave time for yourself," Ashton said, pointing his finger at me and smiling.

"Time f-for myself? What?" Okay, now this confused me.

Calum raised his eyebrows, "You're coming as well. Obviously," he said.

"What? But I don't have anything to wear," are they messing with me or something?

"Sure you do, just look in the wardrobe and there's all kinds in there that'll fit you," said Ashton.
