I was so close to coming out at dinner...
FLASHBACK
"Ed's come down from dinner!" My mom yelled from downstairs. My mom is and alcoholic and my dad is abusive... I sit at the dinner table straight up and fiddle with my fingers. "Eddie eat your food." My dad says sternly. "Ye-yes sir" I say with my nervous shaky voice. My dad looks at me, "Is there something you would like to say?'' I nod my head. " The floor is yours Eddie" mom says, the slurring words that make me more nervous. "I-i-i'm-" I stutter. My dad cuts me off, "Eddie, are you gay?" He starts to grit his teeth, I hesitated. "No, no, I was gonna say I'm" I stop. 'Think fast Ed's' I think to myself. "I'm so excited for my party tomorrow!" I say with a fake smile. My dad just looks at me "mkay..."

Richie's POV
I wish Eddie would like me back. He is such and amazing little bean suddenly I get a text.
