i took a deep breathe, i closed my eyes before telling my cousin what i have decided.
"unnie, i'm taking the risk of surgery." i told her, she smiled at me "it won't hurt, anesthesia will help you." she replied.
she held my hand but before we walked out of the house, i looked back at seungmin's photo on my bedside desk.
"i love you, kim seungmin." i whispered as one small tear slipped out of my eye.
i nodded at my cousin who brought me to the hospital, my cousin owned this hospital and you could say they're wealthy.
"you took this risk, hyungmi. there's no change of minds this time." my cousin reminded as i laid on the bed that brought me to the operation room.

i woke up, i felt pain stinging my chest but it wasn't that painful really.
"how are you, hyungmi?" the doctor asked, i nodded before saying "i'm alright." i saw my cousin beside her standing with sincere smile.
she sat down on the edge of my bed, i slowly sat up as the doctor left "good news, you're going to be discharged tomorrow if you're feeling great." she laughed which made me laugh as well.
"it's so good to get all these flowers out, i feel light." i said and placed both of my hands on my chest.
"seungmin could've chose you as his lover, you're a keeper." she joked or was it? "what're you gonna do now?" she asked, i looked at her with a smile that connected both of my ears.
"i'm going to continue living, i ain't tryna invade his life. he looks so peaceful without me." though it was heartbreaking for me to say it i still created a sincere smile.
"suit yourself. now i'll be getting some snacks." she dismissed herself from the room leaving me alone.
"what if i apologize and explain everything?"
after being dischargedㅡ
i'm back in school all in one piece, "hyungmi-ah!" i turned around to see yewoon run after me.
"where were you this after being absent for four days?" she worriedly asked, i just lightly chuckled "i was just sick, that's all." i said with a smile, "i don't believe you, but here." she playfully glared then handed me a small box.
"just a gift, it's your birthday today right?" she said, i thought of what today is and she's right "oh yeah it is my birthday, how did you know?" we weren't even that close for me to tell her my birthday.
"seungmin told me and i thought of giving you a gift since you have been a trustworthy friend." she responded followed by her signature sweet smile "but we haven't hang out that much, nor do we even have an official hang out." i nervously giggled.
"then we'll hang out later, bye!" she waved me a goodbye before running off.
i continued to walk in the hallways, i wasn't paying any attention at my surroundings and eventually i bumped into something.
