Dear Diary,

Turns out the Anchor is Silas' long lost lover Amara, who happens to be the original Petrova. Qetsiyah punished the poor girl by making her feel all the pain the supernatural beings suffer when they die. She's the thing that keeps the Other Side together.

This entire situation is just so damn confusing! I mean, the poor girl has spent over two thousand years letting supernatural creatures get nto the Other Side and now she's... Well, kinda crazy. She's terrified of everyone and doesn't seem to be that much into Silas. That's understandable though, no woman would be interested in such an evil person.

I reached the bottom of the stairs and noticed Damon and Elena standing up and talking to Stefan who was sitting on the couch. He seemed really distraught. "What's happening?" I asked while carefully studying Stefan's actions.

Damon stared at Stefan with his arms crossed. "We're trying to explain to Stefan what we're gonna do with Amara."

"And what exactly are you doing with Amara?" I asked before folding my arms over my chest, a gesture that I shared with Damon. "I mean, she's harmless."

"And crazy." Damon rolled his eyes, causing Stefan to glare at him.

Elena sat next to Stefan and sighed. "Amara wants to die and end her suffering. But Silas can't die just yet, we need him."

Stefan shakes his head in disapproval. "Silas tortured me for months and you're telling me I can't get revenge on him because of some stupid Anchor!" He ran his fingers through his hair and stood up. "I need to get some air." He walked outside and I stood next to Damon.

"I agree with Stefan." All eyes were on me. "Silas hurt him the worst and he's entitled to some well deserved revenge."

Elena stood up. "I know but we have a plan and for it to work, Silas needs to be alive just like Amara."

They're hiding something from me and I had to know what or else I'm gonna help Stefan end Silas once and for all.

Jeremy and I were reading on the couch when Amara showed up a little flustered and afraid. "I am sorry to interrupt." She said a little shy.

I smiled and immediately put my book down and patted the sit next to me. "Come sit with us, Amara. There's plenty of space."

She smiled and sat next to me. She was still wearing the purple dress she had when Damon put her on the trunk of his car. "So are you enjoying your time here?" Stupid question.

Jeremy gave me a confused look that made me cringe. "Well, it has been hard to adjust and I seem to always miss Silas whenever he stops by." Amara adjusted her dress. "My Silas must hate me!"

I raised my eyebrow and sighed. "How are you capable of loving Silas? He's done so many bad things, especially to Stefan."

Amara smiled faintly. "Silas wasn't always like that. When I met him, he was the kindest man and had a golden heart." Her smile grew wider. "Everyone respected and desired him. We fell in love before he even got engaged to Qetsiyah." She shook her head. "It was a mistake to double cross her and now we are paying for our poor decisions."

"You don't choose who you fall in love with." Jeremy stated and then looked at me and smiled. God, he has the most beautiful smile.

I put my hand on top of Amara's and looked right into her terrified brown eyes. "When it comes to love, I don't think there is right or wrong. Falling in love is not a choice... Love chooses you, not matter how wrong people think it is."

Amara looked at us with a serious expression. "Qetsiyah made me the Anchor to punish me." Jeremy and I nodded. "Your friend never crossed over and I know how much her death hurt you." She squeezed my hand gently. "There is a way that you can all be with her again."

Jeremy looked at Amara. "How? Can you bring her back?"

"No." She shook her head. "I intend to drink the Cure and die peacefully. But The Other Side will need another Anchor or else it will crumble. Qetsiyah can turn Bonnie into the Anchor to hold the Other Side together."

Jeremy and I looked at each other and our smiles were evident. Now we just need to find a way to convince Qetsiyah and that was kinda like Mission Impossible.

The whole conversation with Amara made me hungry, so I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge to get some blood. Damon and I stocked our stash over the summer and we had plenty of bloodbags. "You know, it's rude to spy on people." I said while shutting the fridge.

Damon stood there with a smirk on his face, his signature look. "It's not spying when this is my house."

I rolled my eyes and drained the entire bag. "What do you want Damon?"

"Silas broke his promise and I'm seriously thinking about letting our brother kill that son of a bitch." His tone was calm but his eyebrows were knitted together. Clearly he was feeling betrayed and conflicted.

My eyes stared at his blue eyes and I smiled. "Well, I might have another plan."

Damon raised an eyebrow and looked at me curiously. "What do you mean, baby sister?"

"Amara wants to have the Cure so she can die. Silas' blood is now the Cure." Damon nodded, following my thoughts. "In order to keep the Other Side intact, we'll need another Anchor..."

"And you're thinking about Bonnie." He said and then smiled. "Sometimes I forget how smart you actually are." He kissed my forehead. "I'll talk to Qetsiyah and convince her with my charming personality and my wisdom." He wiggled his eyebrows and I laughed.

My hand reached his shoulder and I patted it gently. "Good luck with that!" I walked past my brother and he grabbed my wrist.

I turned to him and he looked at me with a worried expression. "Thank you for finding a way to bring Elena's best friend back."

I smiled lightly and nodded. "It was Amara's idea. She's not as crazy as you think." I kissed his cheek and he smiled.

The only thing I wanted was to bring Bonnie back. She sacrificed herself and deserves a little happiness in her life. I'm just worried that Jeremy is getting his hopes up. Without Qetsiyah, there is no spell!
