"Hurry up, and be quiet. " I whisper-hiss at Akashi. We decide to go to the local park. We can get out via the reception, but we need to stay quiet to avoid being caught. Cautiously, we creep around the car park. I'm about to stride through the gates, when Akashi pulls me down.
"What?!" I hiss, "What's wrong?"
"Teachers," replies Akashi. Suprisingly, two teachers trek past us. Close. Too close for comfort. By the look of things, the way to the gate is clear.
"'Kay, c'mon," I say, slowly getting up."We're almost there." We run-tiptoe to the gates, only to find they are closed. Not just closed, but locked with a gargantuan padlock on the front. Oh, no! How do we get out now?
"Any good at leaping fences?" I jump. Now, why didn't I think of that?
"No, too short."
"If I give you a hand, will you be able to?"
"Probably, but how will you get over?" This plan is going nowhere. Every solution reveals a dead end.
"There's a bin that I can stand on. Or you can pull me up." Hell no. I'm too weak for that. My arms can't even lift up a newborn baby, let alone a teenage boy. Great. Sugoi, exclaims the Japanese-speaking millimeter of me. Hmmm. If only Takao (the school strategist) could help us.
"Shall we just do this after school?" I ask, momentarily forgetting my superbusy schedule. "Can't, unless you come to basketball club."
"Okay."
"Thinking of truanting, are we?" Uh oh! Busted. We slowly turn around, immediately regretting it. We come face to face with a teacher. The headteacher.
"IhadanappointmentbutIdidn'tknowtheway?" Akashi's new to America. Our school name is so out of place, because the founder was Japanese.
"Hmmm. I need to see proof."
"He lost the card!" I butt in, helpfully... not.
"How do you know?"
"He, uh, told me?"
"You can go, then. Young man, I need to see an appointment card when you return." says the head, unlocking the door.
"Arigato!" We yell as we dart out. I'm not sure why we spoke in Japanese, but I guess it was just uncontrollable gratitude. Oh well. I hope she doesn't think we were being rude. On a positive note, we can finally have that one-on-one.
"Let's go."

De TodoSorry for randomly changing the title. I only changed it because 'Nightmare' has nothing to do with the actual plot. Heh.. I can't think of anything for this story.
