"Momma! Auntie K!" Destiny squealed when she saw them.

"Destiny" Katia squealed jealously and ran over to her niece scooping her into her arms.  "I missed you so much, sweetheart."  Hugging her niece made her feel ten times better. She couldn't help but smile over at her sister.

"Auntie K, I've missed you. Why haven't you been over to see me more?" Destiny asked her as she hugged her.

Kaia smiled and put the beer in the fridge but kept two out as she listened to her daughter grill her aunt.

"Ahmir is so mean to me!"

"I was planning my wedding to Uncle Liam. Picking out the most beautiful flower girl dress for you has been harder than I thought. Every dress I want to work just doesn't show off your amazing aura and beauty," Katia beamed.  "What is Ahmir doing now, I thought he was getting better? Does his still miss his T?"

"I get to be in your wedding?" Destiny asked. Her eyes wide with excitement. "He misses T and he's scared and he takes it out on me even though Uncle Lou and Papa have told him not to be so mean to me," she said with a small pout.

"Can't have a wedding without my favorite little girl," Katia said with a smile.  "I think if you turn it around on Ahmir and you hug him and tell him it will be okay and that T is coming home soon, and that she loves him so much. We all do, that might help a little," Katia smiled at her niece before setting her back down.

"Are you going to have a princess dress like momma had?" She asked and then looked at Kaia.

"Auntie K will have whatever dress she wants." She said.

"Auntie K, when is Auntie coming home? Is she going to die?"

"Auntie won't have a fancy dress like mummy. She was the princess, I am just the long lost sister. So something simple and nice." She said.  "Oh sweetheart, we are all going to die one day, but T will be home in a few days. Then she will have the two for you over to see her and the new baby."

"I thought we were all princesses," Destiny said. "Well, Papa says that mummy is a queen. Whatever that means," she said and then she became sad. "I don't want a to die. I don't want everyone to leave me."

Kaia's heart aches for her daughter. It mirrored her own in more ways than one.

"It won't be for a very long long time. Hundreds of years, by then you will be ready. I promise my love," Katia said kissing her cheek.  "Thank for thinking I am a princess and not the wicked stepsister. Why don't you go get your brother for me."

"Okay," Destiny said and stopped in the doorway and looked back. "Auntie K, Uncle Liam is pretty hot." She said with a giggle and then skipped away to find her brother.

Kaia gasped at her daughter's words. "Oh my God!" She said slightly mortified and drank down a beer.

"Like mother, like daughter," Katia said with a smirk.  "Hand me a beer, sis."

Kaia handed her a bottle of her 'girly' beer. Still mortified. "I have no idea why she even said that."

Destiny found Ahmir watching TV in the living room. "Auntie Katia here. She's in the kitchen with mummy."

"So what," Ahmir said not even looking at his sister.

"She wants to see you."

Ahmir did a classic 'Kaia' eye roll and got off the couch.

"Where's Papa?" Destiny asked.

"He's in his art room, princess," he said with a snap. Even though they were still young, he still hated how Destiny seemed to get away with everything and he was the one always getting into trouble.
