Dear Diary,

Yesterday was very emotional for all of us. Qetsiyah performed a spell to make Bonnie the Anchor and she was successful. Her return made me conflicted about my feelings for Jeremy, as I believe all this jealousy I feel is not healthy. The original love triangle died and I felt particularly affected by Amara's death.

Stefan killed Silas and Damon is still mad about it. I, for one, am team Stefan on this one and I'm proud that my brother took charge and killed that monster with his bare hands. We had an emotional talk last night and I feel closer to Stefan. Maybe our sibling rivalry is finally done and we can start a newfound friendship.

My phone buzzed and I saw Caroline's name on my screen. It was early for her to call me but it could be important. "Hello!" I greeted her.

"Party. Tonight. Dorm. You in?" She asked.

I rolled my eyes and rolled out of bed. "Why are you talking like a freaking zombie?" I raised an eyebrow and I could tell Caroline was getting annoyed.

"Ugh, you're difficult!" I bet she was rolling her pretty blue eyes on the other end of the line. "Elena and I are throwing a party and we really want you to come cause you're our friend and she told me you're pissed at Bonnie and Jeremy."

I sighed. "I was pissed at them but she made me realize that my relationship with Jer is stronger than jealousy." I was proud of my rational thought.

"Either way... Are you coming?" She asked and I could tell she had a hopeful smile.

I rolled my eyes but then smiled. A college party is exactly what I need to have fun and get over this Jeremy situation. "Sounds fun, Care. Count me in!"

"Great! We'll see you tonight." She paused and then sighed. "Can you buy beer? I forgot to order a keg and it's kind of short notice."

"I think I can manage to compel someone an get you a keg." Damn! Caroline is really getting used to being a normal college student.

"You're the best. Bye!" Caroline said before hanging up the phone.

Maybe I should ask Matt to come to the party. He's been so secretive and always hanging out with Nadia Petrova. I miss my friend!

I entered the Mystic Grill where Matt Donovan worked and he was behind the counter. As soon as he caught a glimpse of me, his face lit up and he gave me the biggest smile he could. "Mia! What brings you here?" He leaned forward and kissed my cheek.

My brown eyes gazed at his pretty blue ones and I smiled. "I'm here to ask you to come with me to Caroline's party as my date. And I won't take no for an answer!" I stared at him and he grinned.

"What about Jeremy?" He asked and I shrugged. "Isn't he your official date to everything since he's your boyfriend?"

I grabbed a black straw from the counter and started chewing on it, something I did whenever I was nervous. "He's busy with Bonnie so I'm not sure he's gonna notice my absence."

Matt arched an eyebrow and put a white cloth on his shoulder. "It looks like you need a drink. How about some bourbon? I know it's your favorite drink. Another thing you have in common with your psycho brother." He chuckled and I threw the straw at him, making him laugh.

I sighed. "I'm not sure why I'm so jealous! Usually, I'm pretty confident but I love Jeremy and I don't wanna lose him."

Donovan handed me the drink he promised and leaned on the counter. "If you ask me, Jeremy is crazy about you." I looked deep into his gorgeous blue eyes. "But he cares about Bonnie. Their relationship was intense and those feelings don't just go away." I frowned and Matt tilted my chin. "Mia, don't doubt his love for you. What screws up a relationship is lack of trust."

I sipped on my bourbon and then smiled at him. Matt was right! Jeremy and I trust each other and I shouldn't be jealous.

As soon as I stepped inside the dorm, I smelled the alcohol and the desperation coming from the college students. Damn, these people were thirsty! I watched a few people making out in the hallway and the spotted Elena talking to a handsome blonde guy. "Does my brother know about your college boyfriend?" I chuckled and Elena hit my arm playfully.

Elena glanced at the guys and introduced us. "Aaron, this is Mia, my boyfriend's sister." The guy smiled at me and I returned the gesture. "Mia, this is Aaron. He's my friend and Dr. Maxfield's nephew."

"Oh..." Was all I could muster. Good response, Mia. I facepalmed myself mentally. "You seem nice." I smiled at the poor boy who was looking at me with a bewildered expression. "Can we have a word, Elena?"

Aaron smiled again and now I felt an idiot. "It was nice meeting you, Mia. I look forward to see you again." He said before walking away.

Elena's eyes widened and she turned to me immediately. "He was flirting with you!"

I rolled my eyes. "I expected this behavior from Caroline, not you. How much have you had to drink?" I folded my arms over my chest.

"So what do you wanna talk about?" Elena asked with a smug look on her face. She's been spending way too much time with Damon.

My face dropped as soon as I saw Jeremy and Bonnie standing in the hallway and laughing. "Did you invite your brother?" I asked and Elena looked behind her.

She shook her head and then looked into my angry brown eyes. "I didn't but Bonnie might have told him about the party." She put her hand on my shoulder. "I'm sorry about this."

Suddenly, we heard a scream and Caroline walked up to us. "We have a problem!" She stated and I knew Wes Maxfield was involved. My beautiful blonde friend was friends with Jesse, Dr. Maxfield's best student and I knew that was going to bite us in the ass someday. Never thought it would be this day.
