Arizona's POV:
I wandered forwards, another time back from the military - and still no family to pick me up. Sometimes I just feel like my twin, Luke, has forgotten me; fame being the only important part in his life. Fame? You may ask, my twin: Luke Hemmings, guitarist in 5 Seconds of Summer, support group for One Direction and amazing band.
Yes, Luke Hemmings.
I miss him, sent off to military school aged 13, for 'bad behaviour' was the worst part of my life. The saddest part? I haven't seen him since. Yes, 17 year old Arizona May Hemmings hasn't seen her twin in 4 years. Unless you count magazines, then I've seen him much more than expected, whilst halfway around the globe. Honestly, I haven't seen ANY of my family since then, they've cut me out of everything.
Since I had military training since 13 I was high ranked in the RAF, the military school being in England, the Royal Air Force being my section. To say I missed Sydney and its warm beaches (In England a day of clouds was lucky in summer) was an understatement. Despite living in the heat of Afghanistan and shooting innocent men and ruining families, I enjoyed the army. My friends never left my side - I've known them so long family is a better term - and being the only girl in a very large area had its perks. No, I'm still a virgin, if that's what you were thinking, it's just my family really want the best for me.
The plane had touched down minutes ago, security still needing to be rushed through, most definitely being the best part of the journey *sarcasm*.
"OI!" Was yelled from my side; one of the guys wanted to talk to me: "ARI! GET OVER HERE!" I was shocked at the order in his voice, he never seemed to care about power, but killing people daily has that effect.
Cautiously (Last time a pie was thrown at me) I turned towards Mick no pie in his hand, I was pleased to see. He was grinning like the Cheshire Cat and beckoned me over with a worrying amount of enthusiasm. "Guess which Luke is here to pick you up???" He whispered, the tone he always used for gossip.
Mick was gay, if you hadn't noticed - and I'm pleased to say I was there as he got his civil partnership to Toby, and they now have adopted an adorable baby girl, called Mary.
In the army Mick got lots of banter for being gay, and sometimes it got out of hand; he was beaten up a few times (let's say I may or may not have put them on kitchen duty for a long, long, long time). I thought it was horrendous that people would treat Mick this way, who cares if he's gay? Mick is still Mick, and will always be Mick until the day he dies. He'll probably find a way to still have his crazy personality after he's hit the hay.
I don't know, he'd probably make 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life' play permanently at his graveyard until 739463936383538 AD. That's just who he is.
But, on to more important stuff, Luke, my brother, the worse Hemmings twin, was here. To pick me up, and see me for the first time in years. What shocked me most?
