Can words do justice with emotions? , probably not, but with no ear for empathic listening and no heart to endure, mine souring feelings vent out as broken sighs which hardly get an isolated place anywhere, but reduces fidgety of my reckless soul to large extent.... that I can feel the subtle waves in otherwise rigidly hung air in my room, walls echoing unsung ballad, clocks minute hand moving with a bit more vigor that it becomes audible , and ceiling fan keenly watches over the happenings with keen interest..
This spatial arrangement of inanimate things around me resonates with my own state, of being and mind that implicitly unique harmony hammers down mine unbearable feeling of loneliness,nd invokes kinda of manifold relation with the ultimate reality, to which we belong.One famous couplet of mirza ghalib, urdu poet of great repute with psychological insight, correctly sums up this perplexed discourse as;
Hai aadmi bajaie khud Ek mehsharey Khayal
Hum anjum samajhtain hain, khalwat hi Kyun Na ho....Ghalib says... Unending storm of thoughts, feelings and notions always keep us busy nd thronged..,meaning we are not alone even when we are aloof.
Human existence has two components, one being physical body and other, immeterial divine soul. Blend of seen and unseen makes man the leader of all creations in the universe, with everything at his disposal, provided soul and body is maintained in constant equilibrium as prescribed by the nature.The inner world of unfus, is also complex and variable as outer world of afaq, even being immaterial and not available for analysis. That is why Quran too highlights the importance of innumerable signs in afaq and anfus, to ponder over and appreciate the harmony of this abstract world.
Ours ability to investigate the world around us with mere sensory forces will be ineffective and incomplete, unless it is complemented rather guided by the qalb, king of unfus contrary to aqal, which guides our body and senses only. This fine combination, will definitely ease the journey of exploring the hidden realities of both worlds with positive results.#incongruity accepted
