She had seen fire. She had seen war. She had seen life to its fullest and death at its worst. But now, There was nothing left, Nothing but dust, endless, endless dust and a very broken girl. She ran away from home hoping to escape this nightmare, her father brought upon the world. She was wearing a ruby red velvet dress which was now in tatters from the enchanted forest, she knew she was doomed to be cursed of harshful sickness which was planted upon the forest centuries ago by the evil witch named Endora.
No one dared to enter this forest even a night with armor so thick it could protect against a blade of a sword, sharp as a dragon claw, she was a smart girl and has always had nightmares of the day the world would fall in ruins. Her mother had passed away when she was just a baby and she can't remember anything from back then and that was 16 years ago and her father never told her anything about her mom, she was angry at him. This was a world where the vilest creatures came to live. Even her mother, always so brave, wouldn't dare utter its name. This was a world where the snow fell black.
She came upon a tree, This tree from which all life flows is built upon the bones of the dead. In another time they wandered freely through both worlds swimming and dancing in cool water, soon after the gatherings in the water they died because of Endora, Endora was a villager of this town, everyone thought she was dark but not this dark. After she killed everyone she disappeared into the mist and was never seen again.
She came upon this village with the town still cursed after centuries of the incident. She went into a home that was all tattered from the years passed. when she entered there was a man who hung himself, she got freaked out and then suddenly she just got more freaked out, the hanged man started to speak
"What a beautiful young lady what tis your name"
"It's Emily, It was my mom's name."
"It is a lovely name where have you come from?"
"I have come from the palace of Laistolia."
" my that what a beautiful palace."
"It was but now it has turned into a dark and evil place thanks to my father, king Abner."
"Don't fret child everything will go back to peace and happiness"
"I don't know anymore"
"Believe child, just believe."
"I CAN'T."
Those words rang through the small building she could hear it echo and echo, she closed her eyes to stop her from crying, but when she opened them the man was gone. Was she going crazy was she going insane she didn't know what was happening but she didn't like it. She knew something bad was happening, it made her sick.
She cried and she cried she couldn't stop and no one could stop her, all she wanted to do was disappear she didn't want to be here anymore she just wanted to vanish like that man, she needed to stop thinking, she needed to stop thinking about everything.
The next day she woke up with a horrible splitting plain in her head, "how long was i out for" she thought as she sat up from the straw pile she was sleeping on, Her head split with pain and her eyes going fuzzy, soon it was darkness as she fell on the straw pile again.
She woke up around midnight the next day, but there was something different from where she was earlier she was in a bigger room and the ceiling was about 50 meters high, as she sat up she realized where she was, She was back at the palace. How did my dad find me, was he sending of his knights to go after me to watch me? She thoughts as she walked in circles around the bedroom, but she couldn't think properly, her head was still aching with pain. If my dad finds out that I'm going crazy that day would be my last day on earth, he would have me executed. She has witnessed too many executions as a child from the towns crazy people and it scared her, she fell to the floor and almost started crying. She didn't want to die, she didn't want to die from her father she wanted to beat him she wanted to take his place in the throne and throw him out of the castle and anyone who liked darkness, she just wanted to have a peaceful world and not something where she would have to fear for her life.
