Virgil's POV
"Hey Verge, if in a year, neither of us are in love with someone, we should get married." I snort at my best friend, Roman's comment. "Sure why not Ro." "Promiseee" I not and chuckle, "I promise"
Oh what a promise that was. I never expected to fall for Roman, or himself not fall for anyone else. I thought he forgot about it, or that he was joking. Not that my best friend, and crush, would be on one knee in front of me, actually tearing up as he proposes.
"Virgil Sanders, one year ago today, we made a promise to marry one another if neither if us fell in love. I suppose I shouldn't be doing this then, seeing as I fell for you. Your emo ways, and sarcastic comments seem to draw me in. I love you Virgil, so will you marry me?" He pulls out the ring with Red and Black diamonds on it, shimering against the silver.
"YES! ROMAN HELL YES YOU IDIOT!"
I scream jumping on him, and kiss all over his face as he out the ring on my finger.
That was the best night of my entire life. Turns out that my dad and other dad already gave there blessing and helped plan it. Everything was even better when we got home.
The pregnancy test came back positive. Six months later we were married, and nine months, Royal came into the world. I couldn't be more happy with my Husband and Son.
