"Hane Louise Farlow."
Oh no. The statement of my name from Amy. I must as well just crawl into a hole in the Amazon Rainforest and hibernate for a few years.
Anything to miss the talking to I was about to receive.
"Care to explain why you were uncontactable for the whole of last night and had a crazy smile plastered over you face?"
"Not really" I sang (opera style of course), trying to delay the devastating moment for as long as possible.
But of course they knew. I knew they knew. And they knew that I knew that they knew. And I knew that they knew that I knew that they knew.
Basically they had figured out I was DMing Niall the whole night.
Shit.
But their faces broke out into wide smiles.
"Soo, what did he say?"
"What were you talking about?"
"How long were you up until?"
They interrupted each other with a brand new question, their faces shining with excitement.
I was wrong.
They exploded into full scale girl-mode.
I don't know which I would have preferred. Being yelled at, or getting interrogated for the next hour.
I didn't really have much choice.
"In answer to your questions, words, stuff and late" I said smartly, hoping that no more questions would be asked.
But of course there were more.
Amy proceeded to get out of me that we'd talked and played twenty questions and I had a good morning message. And she squealed. Rather loudly.
After an hour of her fangirling, I finally managed to extract myself. My excuse? I was hungry.
I mean, it wasn't a lie. Because I was hungry. I just had an ulterior motive to leaving rather than food.
"We all know we must not tell lies" my mind screamed at me in Dolores Umbridge's voice.
Some things never leave you.
I threw on a baggy hoodie and slyly scooped up my phone as well.
I HAVE SKILLZ BRUVAAAAA.
As I ventured through the now empty house en route to the temple of all temples (the kitchen), I opened my DM. From Niall.
It's funny, whilst we were discussing anything and everything last night, he just became a normal guy to me, just, with a special job.
But that didn't stop my heart fluttering like a swan chasing a chipmunk down the river Thames every time I saw his name. It hadn't even properly sunk in yet.
"Good morning cutie! xx" was the glorious sight that met my eyes. My fingers flew across the keyboard in response, he had sent it last night, once he was sure I was asleep.
'Asdfghjkl Aaaw' my mind hyperventilated.
My fingers however responded more eloquently,
'gooood morning :)! Xx'
Now for food.
