Chapter Forty

*Mikey's P.O.V*

It had been 2 weeks since Liv went back home to visit, so 2 weeks without her here. I will admit it has been weird. All I've done these last 2 weeks is either sleep, film, or hang out with the lads. Liv didn't arrive back into America until later on about 3pm so I decided to get myself out the house for once and go and buy her a 'welcome back' present before I went to pick her up from the Airport.

It was 12pm and I was already dressed and that so I didn't have to worry about getting ready before leaving the house. I turned the TV off and grabbed my coat and putting it on before picking up my car keys and leaving the house. I locked up the house on the way out and got in the car and drove off to the mall which was only a 15 minute drive away. Liv loved chocolate so I thought about being basic and getting her a box of chocolates. I drove for a little while and then parked on the huge, yet for some strange reason, not so busy car park. It was weird because this mall was always really busy. Oh well, off out the car and into the mall I went.

The candy/chocolate shop was on the bottom floor and really easy to find, so I near enough only took 30 seconds to get there. I picked out her favourite chocolates, paid and left to go to my car. I quickly popped in the shop next door to get a couple of clothes for myself as I just felt I needed to treat myself then left. On my way, I saw someone who I really, really, did not want to see at all. Sam. Luckily he was chatting away to one of his mates. I walked straight past him trying to ignore him when all I heard was 'yeah that's the prick who took my girl'. I was going to go up to him and give him a good punch but I didn't because I know Liv wouldn't want that and I have to leave to get her anyways. I left the building leaving Sam to glare and hopped in the car.

*Liv's P.O.V*

I had just gotten off the plane and I was shattered. I hate long flights wow but at least I got to see Mikey. It was the time that Mikey said he'd be here for so all was going to plan so far. I collected my cases and went through security and all that and then walked out to the car park spotting Mikey's car and Mikey stood leaning against it at the front on his phone. "MIKEY" I ran over with my cases, dropped them to the floor and hugged him tight. he hugged me back placing his chin onto my head and resting there. "I've missed you so much" he replied. We stayed there for a little while before pulling away and getting in the car with the cases. Mikey drove off and got to Starbucks. I KNEW IT! I was so happy to be back at Starbucks. I literally didn't have 1 whilst in England oops. We hopped out, locked the car, held hands and walked in.

As I walked in I saw Bryce, Rory, Amelia and a girl sat there. I didn't know who this girl was but OMG!! They ran over and hugged me saying hey and welcoming me back and I said hi hugging them back too. We all walked back to the table and sat down and Bryce turned to me. "Liv this is Yasmin, Yas for short and Yas this is Liv, Mikey's girlfriend." I smiled over. "nice to meet you" I said and she gave me a reassuring smile back. We ordered the drinks and drank whilst having catch up chats and I learnt that Yas was the girl Bryce was currently talking to but it wasn't official yet. After an hour in Starbucks me and Mikey left as I was tired, got in the car and got home pretty quickly.

-----2 Hours Later-----

We have been home for a couple of hours now and watched a few episodes of friends and caught up on Riverdale whilst drinking more Starbucks and eating McDonalds. I cuddled into him smiling. "Why are you grinning for?" he chuckled looking down at me. "I'm just happy" I looked back smiling, pecking his lips and he pecked back. After another episode of friends, Mikey got up and went and got an envelope from off the side. "What's that?" I asked sitting up. He came over and handed it me telling me to open it to find out so I did. As I opened it I saw 3 concert looking tickets, I took them out and read who it was for. OMG! I haven't seen these live since I moved and they're mine, Sophie and Amelia's favourite band ever omg.
