Vanessa and her grandmother pulled into the driveway. Adam heard them and rushed to wipe up the blood and clean the wall and hide the body. He forgot about the blood on the bed sheets.

They entered, noticing his car was back in the driveway. He ran and shut the bathroom door to change out of his bloody white dress shirt. Vanessa ran and knocked on it. She was about to open it.

"No, no! Don't open the door!", he fussed.

"Are you okay?! You were gone all night!", she screamed.

"I'm fine. Everything is fine. Just a lot of overtime.", he replied.

"Ya know, work is always the excuse with you!", the grandmother began stomping towards the door.

Vanessa turned around startled at her anger.

"What's going on?! Open up that damn do'!", she screeched and banged on the door quickly 3 times. She jiggled the knob and it was locked.

Vanessa walked down the hall and noticed granddad was gone.

"WHERE'D GRANDDAD GO?!", Vanessa shrieked.

The grandmother ran and noticed he was gone, along with the fact that the bed sheets and covers were a mess. They both also noticed that his suitcase and belongings were missing.

"Where would he go?!", the grandmother said, worried.

By this point, Adam opened up the door and walked out in jeans and a t-shirt.

"Perhaps he followed in his daughter's footsteps", he insulted.

The grandmother gasped.

"You....you did something! You did something to Lauren and you did something to him!", grandmother defended, angry.

Tears swelled up in Vanessa's eyes.

"How could you say such a thing, dad? How could you say that?!", Vanessa said, sniffling with tears dripping down her face.

"Baby, I didn't mean it like that. I'm sor--", he was interrupted.

"You know what...🔥GO TO HELL🔥, ADAM!", the grandmother yelled.

Her and Vanessa walked to her room and slammed the door shut. Adam was raging with anger. He glared at the door, and clenched his fist. His mind began conceiving a new and devious plan. He was sick and tired of that old lady and would get rid of her, he would make sure of it.

Later that day, the grandmother took her granddaughter out for dinner and a movie. Adam was alone in the house, which gave him all the time he needed to get rid of granddad's body. He dragged the body out of the attic to the backyard swing set. He began digging into the yard chips and beige mulch. He tossed the body in and refilled the hole.

He went back inside the house and remembered what the grandmother had said to him. He made him rage inside with extreme anger. He would never let it go...unless she was dead.
