Year X772
The baby laughed as the woman tickled her. She said calmly, "You are the light of everyone's life. I just wish things were different."
The full moon was shining brightly as the clouds fearfully moved away from its glow. Crickets were chirping up a song while a Vulcan's snore was heard in the distance.
She carefully put the still laughing baby on the grass. A tear slid down the her cheek as she kissed the baby's forehead. "I finally know why your mother and father named you this beautiful name. We will always love and will miss you...Luna." With that, she slowly walked away. The baby falling soundly asleep.

"Did you get rid of that THING?"asked a man as he put his book down. Thousands of paperwork were stacked up on his desk. His face was facing the window.
The woman nodded. An empty and distance look plastered on her face. Her eyes red and puffy from all the crying. "I just wish that we could've kept her."
"You know why we have to do this," the man said in a calming yet sad voice.
"I know," the woman said in a more louder voice. "But La-"
"Do not speak of her name here! Not now! We both know that the baby wouldn't survive even if we kept it! It has too much magic energy in its body!" His voice was rough, and mean, yet full of sadness.
The woman flinched at his tone. She bowed and said, "Excuse me." And left the room.
"I'm sorry for this to happen, honey. But the baby's getting sicker and sicker everyday. I don't know what to do but this. Forgive me, Layla."

Lucy searched through the empty and dark hallways. She was listening for even the faintest giggle or laugh. Nothing.
She looked through her baby sister's room. Many pink baby toys were neatly placed in a bin. The moon's beam of light shined through the curtains and landed in the crib.
Hoping that her sister was sleeping, Lucy crept though the room and peered down in the crib. Every night she would visit her sister, the last gift that her mother had left behind before she passed away.
She gasped when the crib was empty. She tripped and fell. Tears threatened to fall as she ran to her room. Her father had taken the last of happiness from her. This was too far. Her sister wasn't there!

In the night sky, a dragon was happily flying throughout the night. Stars reflected off her skin, making it shine a crystal blue color.
"That idiot Igneel," she spoke in an annoying manner. "Next time we fight, you better not cheat or else I'll kick your fiery butt all the way to the other side of Earthland!"
She sighed as she made her way to her forest home. As she walked, she tried her best to be quiet as possible. A cave appeared in her sight as she made her way towards it. In it, water patterns swirled and swayed around the walls and stars shined and glowed. A huge lake rested inside the lake and another lake nearby.
Just when the dragon was about to finally sleep after a long day, she heard a faint sound of someone sneezing.
It doesn't sound like it came from a Vulcan or anything but human. She growled as she stood up and flew to where she heard the sound. No one passes through her territory but her.
But what surprised her was that it yes, it came from a human but a small one. She curiously looked at the small and fragile human. It radiated nothing but happiness and warmth and power. One that the dragon longed for.
She looked around only to see nothing but darkness. No one was around. Her face softened just a bit as she picked up the cloth surrounding the small human making it fly along with her.
This human was gonna go for the ride of her life.
