Francis

I got off the plane walking over to were you pick up your luggage, after a five hour plane trip my back was killing me. Groaning I saw that my luggage was right next to a flaming box, great. Picking up my bag, I tried not to get burnt by the box.

Numb jumped out shifting back to her doggy self and walked right along my side. Looking around i saw a bunch, and I mean a bunch of superheroes. They were everywhere from people levitating to, water shooters, people crawling on the walls, people stretching super long, to fire benders, almost any type of superhero you could think of.

Looking over I saw a young couple fighting, the girl seemed to have gotten upset and shoot some water at him causing him to fall to the ground screaming while steam whispers off his body. This place was insane. Surprisingly I got out of the airport alive, hopping into my cab I was driven over to a wonderful little apartment.

"Hola, and welcome young mutant and welcome to your new home. Your apartment number is room 542 on the sixth floor." Giving me a card i walked over to the elevator going all the way up to my floor dragging my dog, and bags with me. Finally i heard the ding and walked down the hallway bumping into my best-friend from the hood, Melanie.

"Oh my gee!! Girl, hey!" I dropped my luggage in front of my door giving her a hug. "Please tell me this is your room, right 544?" She nodded giving me a shy smile.

"Yes, girl it is!" She snapped her fingers in a Z formation laughing as she did.

"Well, I will see in class." Wiggling my eyebrows I walked into my apartment being greeted by dark brown furniture and a light yellow. Pictures of the sky and flowers were all over my new home gaping, i walked into my room to be greeted by color. It looked like a rainbow threw up in my room; there was a queen size bed and two full dressers.

"Well turns out we got ourselves a wonderful place to live Numb." I smiled at Numb watching her hop up onto the bed.

"Yes we do have a wonderful place to live." I repeated.

Waking up to my annoying loud ass alarm clock was not a good way to start off the day. Grabbing  a pack of spearmint gum i ran outside the hotel room. On my way to the elevator i bumped into someone.

"Please tell me you’re a where-shifter too." I looked to be greeted by a tall, tan black hair, blue eyed glory.

"I'm a shifter of all shapes and sizes buddy." I laugh. "Walk with me I can’t be late for the bus." While we entered the elevator i was greeted by its music and a sigh of relief by the man god right next to me.

"Well we are the only two then!" He said giving me a bright smile. You got to be kidding me.

"Really???"

"Yep. The only two on this island." He paused. "Oh by the way my name is Austin."

Shaking his hand. "My name is Francis, or fray, fray!" I said in a ghetto accent. Laughing we walked out the lobby doors. Walking onto the bus I sighed kind of aggravated. The bus driver seemed severely pissed/annoyed that i was late, and the only other shifter here was a where-shifter who looked like a Greek god!

"Great...." I muttered, this year was going to be fun.

Melanie

After I got off the plane there were so many voices inside and out which made my vision blurry and my head hurt; I even bumped into a guy that way on fire! When I located my bags and dragged myself into a cab my vision cleared and I relaxed big, BIG exited crowds is not where someone like me needs to be.

The cab drove up to a really large hotel, I got out all of my stuff and walked up to the grand double doors I looked back and realized that the hotel had its own ambulance. I smiled; normal people still don't trust us!

Once I got into my apartment I looked to see white painted walls with a velvet red sectional, beautiful hard wood floor and a flat screen T.V. I went into the bright kitchen to see a little packet I flipped through it seeing that this room was water proof, fire proof, sound proof; the list went on for about four pages.

I shrugged and opened up the fridge; Note: Food never ends, but if you want sweets order it! I took out a smoothie and entered my room; it was light blue color with a large fluffy purple bed and right on the night stand a little turtle.

I sat down my smoothie and watched the turtle swim "I shall name you Skipper!" I proclaimed to the little turtle. This place is ganna be great!

My stupid alarm clock went off at 5:30 AM with the continuous stupid little beep. I finally got up about ten minutes later and turned my alarm off. "Geese." I muttered to myself.

I put on a pair of jean shorts and a white T-shirt with flowers on it, took a protein bar and was out the door then realized that it was only 6:30. I sighed and took out my key card then was instantly knocked down.

"Ouch!" I got back up and head something zip by again and knock me down again but this time I saw him “Oh gosh I'm so, so sorry I didn't see you and then I came back and whacked you again." I got up and looked at him. He was tall, had short dirty blond hair, piercing gray eyes and a nervous look on his face.

He was still rambling off drowning out anything I had to say so I decided to mess with him. I looked into him mind and made a connection, "It's okay just tell me your name!"  He stopped abruptly and looked at me "My name is Jet." He said slowly.

"Okay then Jet obviously your mutant power is speed." in a blink of an eye he picked up my bag and key card "Yes," he said handing them to me "and yours is apparently mind reading."

I smiled and nodded, Jet smiled back "Well shall I escort you to the bus?" He said in an awful British accent, I smiled and went into his mind and made him carry my things "Why not?" I replied, Jet looked curiously at the bags he was now carrying and handed them back "I'm not carrying those!" Jet stated

"OK," I replied "but you still have to take me down to the bus!"

Jet smiled and took my wrist; an odd sensation came over me nothing felt right until suddenly we were at the front. I felt dizzy "You did great! Most people throw up the first time!" Jet said enthusiastically.

"Great...” I replied dazed "Wait I still don't know your name!" "It's Melanie." "Okay see you around!" and with that he was on the bus.

This was ganna be a very interesting year!
