It's been almost two years since I've finished writing this, and I realised I never said thank you for all the reads I've received since then. We've almost reached 270K reads, which is the best any story I've written has ever done. Thank you so much!
I miss this story so much and I wish I could write it again. It's tempting to, but I'd have Benihime work with Light, I think that would be interesting tbh. Not sure if anyone would want to read that though XD

Future me: thank you everyone so much for reading this still! I never would have thought it would still be getting read five years on from when I finished it. This story is far from perfect, I wrote it when I was 15-18.
I'd like to give you all an update from me, especially as I left so many A/Ns and shared some of my life as I wrote this. I'm now married, I got a degree in creative writing and I'm about to turn 23 in June. This story has been a huge part of my life for so long and it has a very special place in my heart.
