The first thing Steve Rogers noticed when he entered the room that held his friend was Bucky and the doctor lying sprawled out on the floor. He wanted to check with his friend, but not seeing Wes (or Lilly, whatever she was called now) anywhere, he decided to deal with the doctor first.

And it seemed like his little 'chat' with the doctor was going alright, until Sam walked into the room.

A petite blonde dressed in a white nightgown, looking almost like the girl from The Ring, bolted out of nowhere and grabbed at Sam's neck, lifting him off the ground and throwing him at the containment unit, where his head was bashed and he crumpled to the floor like a paper doll.

She turned on Steve now, her pale face blank and ominous. Objects around the room started to shake and move about, then eventually to float. Bright yellow energy twisted around her hands, and Steve couldn't help but think that she looked like Wanda Maximoff in that moment.

That is, until the wind was knocked out of him as he was picked up by the yellow light and thrown down the hall.

She stalked forwards, her platinum blonde hair floating up around her, the white streaks in the front showing more so then ever now. It almost looked like she was underwater. Her hand jerked up and Steve went flying into the air again, sailing down the hall and pressing up against the cold metal of the elevator doors. It felt like invisible hands were pressing against him, pushing him as close as possible to the metal behind his back.

She made no noise as she walked closer to him, getting as close to his face as she could. "I was told to have no mercy," it sounded like a thousand voices were whispering at once, "but I don't kill anyone who does no harm to me."

And just like that, the invisible hands forced him through the metal and tossed him down the elevator shaft.

She dusted herself off and kept moving, making her way through the building as Helmut Zola followed her. With just a wave of her tiny hands gunmen crumbled to the ground, all found dead with purple bruises in the shape of tiny hands wrapped around their necks. The Avengers stayed clear out of her way after this, choosing to wait for a more opportune time to strike then while she was under full HYDRA influence.

They simply stayed out of her way and observed her, trying their best to figure out her abilities. She was insanity at its best, and all of Tony and Bruces theories about HYDRAs testing on her were proven true. The way her yellow wisps of energy could bring a full grown man to his knees with just a flick of her pinky finger. The way she could twist her foot a certain way and fissures would form in the earth below her. Even how a tilt of her head could pull a man apart limb by limb.

It was obvious that she had no control over what she was doing, and it was also obvious that Zola was the one controlling her. He would bark out orders in German and suddenly two more armed soldiers would collapse to the ground, dead. He would hiss something under his breath and the earth would fall away under people's feet.

It became clear to them why HYDRA had kept her frozen, why they only took her out to break her and wipe her. Whatever they had done to her had not only enhanced everything about her to the point where she was a close rival to Steve and Bucky, but they had also unlocked some other side to her. Some alien side that possessed these catastrophic abilities. She was HYDRAs weapon of mass destruction.

It wasn't until they were able to catch her on camera again when they saw something mildly unsettling. She used her powers, and her eyes turned a pure, glowing white. It was enrapturing, alluring, and absolutely impossible.

The rest of the Avengers, bar Steve, Sam, and Bucky, fled the premises when she approached the exit. They didn't have any intentions of being near her if she blew the building up, even if they all adored the girl hidden underneath.
