Chapter VII

Enjoy this chapter, sorry it took so long but I got some inspiration today while me and my friend were talking about our books. Her book is call "full of lies" (it's the one with the pretty flower cover)

"You know the squid ain't coming back to life?" I say to Bender. Nudging him on his arm trying to get him to dissect the squid, he was never done it before.

"I am aware but it's weird. Shouldn't you be the one all grossed out." Bender said.

"It is not weird is the American school system. Also if you make a sexist comment again, I will make sure your front teeth are gone." I say.

"I know you can throw a mean slap but my front teeth out? Isn't that like really hard to do like even when it's like UFC? It doesn't happen that much." He said seriously wondering of how I could do that; I was going to answer but Jade got to it first, looking at me first for permission and proceeded when I gave her a nod.

"She does boxing. The slap she threw at Michael was a reflex, surprisingly she didn't punch him. When Derek got her was because he didn't want her to break his jaw and/or nose. We don't want her to get in trouble, a lot more people would of found out about the boxing." Jade said summoning up everything pretty good.

"Look buddy, don't piss her off seriously. I play football and when she punched me, it hurt as much as if a guy would of done it." Derek said to Bender.

"Okay, noted, anything else I should know about you, also how come people know about you boxing?" Bender said pointing at me.

"Umm... my parents are divorce, I have 2 sibling; girl 13 and a boy 10, also I am 17 even though Derek hates it so he keeps saying I am 16 and by now I just let it slide. I got in a fight with this girl because she was my friend and she ended up sleeping with Michael, knowing that we were together. She doesn't go to our school anymore and I couldn't get suspended since it was out of school. Her parents didn't do anything because I was close with them; I told them what their daughter did and they told me it was fine but to never come back especially since I broke her nose in 2 places and cracked a rib or something." I say, he was a bit shocked and taken back so to lighten him up I added, "If you don't want to end up like her I would open up the goddamn squid."

Instead of answering, he go the weird knife and cut the squid open but since it was his first time ink splashed on him; it gave me déjà vu of when it happened to me. He murmur something about how he wanted to be home.

"Okay, okay. Don't worry about the squid. We can look around; it's a museum, I am pretty sure there is bound to be something cool." I say while attempting, key word attempt, to put an arm around his neck.

"Bender how tall are you? Also how old are you? I am assuming 17 since you're a junior and tall." I say asking him questions since he asked a few.

"Okay I am 6'3 last time I checked but that was a few months ago and apparently I can go up to 6'5. I am 17 and yes a junior but you looked at my schedule so you knew." Bender said.

"Damn Bender gonna be a light post." Jade said making me laugh. "Okay since we doing introductions, I'll go. I am Jade I am 5'1, I'm 18 and I started late because of the cut out I turned 18 in June." She said turning red because she always feels self conscious of how she is always older.

"So I am guessing you don't date juniors?" Bender said raising an eyebrow.

"Not usually but maybe for you light post I will." Jade said with a wink. I started laughing so hard I couldn't breath. The only reason I stopped is because it was Derek's turn to introduce himself.
