Much to Jimin's dismay, the house was full when he and Yoongi arrived with the groceries. Namjoon sat on the floor of the living room, between Jins's legs, working on music with his laptop while the eldest watched the drama playing out on TV. Taehyung and Jungkook would be heard yelling with zeal from the maknae's room as they played videogames. While Hoseok prepped the kitchen for Jimin's dinner.
Jimin turned, reaching to take the bad from Yoongi, "Thank you for the ride. I'll try to cook quickly so you can have a good dinner as payment for driving me."
Yoongi held on to his bags, carrying them into the kitchen past Jimin, "I'll help you."
Jimin ran after him, "You're a guest. Besides, I promise I'm not a bad cook."
Yoongi smirked slightly, unpacking the food, "Good. That means we'll both make a damn good meal."
Jimin nodded, joining him quickly. His cheeks blushing red, somehow finding himself more attracted to Yoongi. For a while they both focused on their tasks. Cooking in silence. But it was a comfortable silence. As if they'd known each other for years.
As they cooked, Jimin couldn't help but steal glances at Yoongi.  Seeing a domestic side to Yoongi was unexpected for the younger. Jimin couldn't help but wonder how many sides there were to Yoongi. He also couldn't help but feel somewhat desperate. Desperate to see all the facets of Yoongi's person. To know him completely. How can someone feel this way just by looking at a person?
They finished cooking too quick for Jimin's liking but the dinner was spent in joy and good spirits. Jimin did take the time to relish in the fact that he spent the entire dinner beside Yoongi. Sparks firing through his body every time their knees touched beneath the table.
Again the group got drunk, the celebratory dinner turning into loud but hilarious chaos. Namjoon and Jin were first to escape the calamity to the safety of their room. Though everyone knew it was because of how handsy Namjoon got after a few drinks. The youngest ones had to be forced out of the room after Jungkook straddled Taehyung and began making out with him. A sight the others in the house had seen far enough of, though their closeness was cute. But Hoseok stayed, despite the many times Jimin begged him with his eyes to leave.
The three talked quietly for a while, sipping at their wine until Hoseok and Yoongi got on the subject of music. Jimin found himself the third wheel. As much as he liked music and singing, he wasn't on the same level as the other two. To quell his rising sadness, Jimin took the chance to clear the table. Taking the dishes to the kitchen and washing them.
As he cleaned, he smiled. Listening to the sound of Yoongi's voice as he talked excitedly about music. The elder's voice was so smooth it could be an entire album spouting nonsense and Jimin would be first in line to buy it. Every word out of his mouth had a particular flow. Jimin pictured himself dancing to Yoongi's voice as he finished up the dishes.
The house had once again grown quiet as Yoongi entered the kitchen. Walking slowly to the sink to rinse his wine glass. Jimin felt the smile cross his face at the elders manners, appreciating Yoongi's kind actions since they met.
"Where's Hobi-hyung?" Jimin asked quietly, hoping the noise didn't call anyone else in the room.
Yoongi turned to face Jimin, his slender frame leaning against the sink, "He said he was going to get some sleep since your practice gets harder tomorrow."
Jimin nodded. Unsure of what to say but taking the chance to look Yoongi over. His dark hair hung messily over his sluggish eyes. Pale skin shining in the dim kitchen lights. Slim frame hidden under a leather jacket and black sweater. His thin legs draped in tattered jeans. The entire image of him could have been ripped out of a magazine. The man was model. He was... beautiful. And yet that word wasn't even enough to describe him. Even now, in his presence, Jimin couldn't be sure Yoongi was real.
      "What?" Yoongi asked.
Jimin snapped back to reality at his voice, "Huh?"
A small smirk tugged at the side of Yoongi's lips, "You're looking at me like I'm a plate of food and you haven't eaten in days."
"It feels that way," the words tumbled out of Jimin's mouth before he could stop them, biting his bottom lip in regret.
        "Why?"
Jimin blushed and looked away, "Well... Ever since we... We..."
         Yoongi smirked again, "Kissed."
"Yes," Jimin tried to continue through his drying throat. "Ever since then I..."
".... You?" Yoongi waited but Jimin didn't finish. The elder seemed to grow impatient. "You what? Spit it out."
"I've wanted to do this," Wasting not even a millisecond, Jimin closed the gap between them. Taking Yoongi's face in his hands and sealing their lips. The rush flooding through Jimin's body as he finally tasted what he had been yearning for.
Yoongi didn't pull back. Instead, he fell into the kiss. Deepening it as his placed a hand at the small of Jimins back, pulling him closer. Their hips pressed against each other. Jimin could feel himself slowly going wild, melting into the elders touch. Their tongues moving in rhythm. Each pulling at the other to be closer. Jimin's body slowly setting ablaze. He wanted Yoongi. He wanted Yoongi so fucking bad.
Suddenly, Yoongi pushed Jimin back. The space between them leaving Jimin's body feeling cold as he stared at him in surprise.
Immediately Jimin apologized, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I just thought.... I'm stupid. I'm so sorry."
"You didn't do anything wrong," Yoongi said, his teeth grit together.
Jimin grew confused, "Then why did you stop me?"
Yoongi's expression seemed pained before returning to its flat state, his dark eyes meeting Jimin's, "You seem great. I'm just not into you like that."
Jimin's face turned bright red with embarrassment, but a hole felt like it was being drilled into his heart.
"I'm such an idiot," Jimin said, trying to fight off the self pity. "I'm so sorry, Yoongi-ssi. It won't happen again."
Yoongi opened his mouth to speak but Jimin cut him off, wanting to escape the room as quickly as possible, "You're welcome to sleep on the couch. I had Jungkookie set out some blankets for you."
At that, the younger spun away from Yoongi and practically sprinted to his room. Shutting the door quietly as to not awaken Hoseok. Jimin didn't even change clothes as he slipped into bed, hiding under the covers. Using the darkness to hide the tears streaming from his eyes. He wasn't as much sad as he was embarrassed. Embarrassed and angry. Yoongi had kissed him back.
      Didn't he?

The next morning, Yoongi was gone again. The hole in Jimin's heart growing bigger as the week progressed without one glimpse of the elder, Yoongi clearly avoiding Jimim at all costs. The currents of electricity from their kiss still lingered on Jimin's lips as the days progressed. He felt consumed by Yoongi. His thoughts, his body, his ears all begging for pieces of the beautiful man. But the worst part is that he knew he would never have it again.
"Yah!" Hoseok's voice ripped Jimin from his thoughts. "Are you coming?"
Jimin shook his head, waving Hoseok and Jungkook out the door, "I want to practice some more."
Hoseok hesitated but faltered, "Don't over do it. The competition is tomorrow."
"Oh~" Jimin replied playfully, trying to assure them he was fine.
"I left you some water in the mini fridge Hyung!" Jungkook added as he followed Hoseok out the door.
Jimin stood alone in the quiet dance studio. Using the time to throw himself into their choreography. Trying to free his mind and body from the jail of sad embarrassment that Yoongi held. Throwing his anger, sadness, all emotions into the powerful movements of the dance. The emotions flowing out of him with every modern sweep across the floor. Anger lifting with every pop of his body to the beat. Each tumble kicking the memories away until all that was left was a sweaty, exhausted mess of Jimin sprawled out on the cool floor.
Happy with the bit of relief that finally calmed his mind and heart, Jimin pulled out his phone.
