I'M BACK! I've finished all my exams now :D :D I'm so sorry it's been such a long wait and after reading this whole story again I've realised just how bad it really is :') However, whilst I've considered deleting it I came to the conclusion that I may as well finish it as there aren't that many chapters left... So here you go

James' POV

I decided I needed to go straight to Connor's. Elle didn't look well, she looked like she'd hardly eaten in months. Not to mention that she'd just found out her boyfriends been cheating on her. I needed to tell Connor even if she didn't want to. I rang Connor while on my way there, it was still the early morning and he would definitely be asleep.

"Hello?" Connor's croaky voice said on the other end of the phone.

"Elle's back Con and I'm worried about her." I told him.

"James? How do you know?" He asked, sounding a little panicked.

"She came to see me, she rang Brad first but she found out he's with someone else. He lied to us, they never broke up" I told him hurriedly. I was turning onto his driveway and I could see his bedroom light on. "Open the door Con"

I heard him make his way down the stairs and saw his figure open the door. "James, what the fuck is going on?" He asked looking slightly shocked. He lead me into the living room and we sat down on one of the sofas.

"Elle got back in the middle of the night, she came to see me but she rang Brad first and his new girlfriend picked up and explained the situation. She came to mine and told me that she had never broken up with him and that he's been cheating on her all this time." I let out with an exasperated sigh.

"I knew there was something wrong with their break up, it never seemed right. But why didn't she come here?" He asked.

"She was worried that you would do something to Brad, she would have gone to Tristan’s but she worked out that he's disappeared. I don't know where she's gone now or why she came back, we need to go and look for her." I stood up as soon as the words were out of my mouth.

"Call Joe and Dean, I'll call Brad, we need as much help as we can get" he said getting his coat and pulling his phone out. I dialled Joe's number.

"James, it's 5am, why are you calling me?" Joe asked groggily.

"Can you come to Connor's? There's something we all need to sort out. It's an emergency and bring Dean." He quickly agreed and told me that himself and Dean would be over in 5 minutes.

"What the hell is going on?" Brad grumbled as everyone was sat in the living room looking at Connor and I.

"Brad you have a lot to explain but we've got something more important to do right now." Connor shouted silencing Brad who now had a guilty look on his face.

"Elle's back." I told then calmly. "She landed a couple of hours ago, she rang Brad but Zoe picked up. Turns out Brad and Elle never actually broke, so obviously when she found out he was cheating on her it was devastating. She knows Tristan’s gone missing so she came to mine, she doesn't look well but she ran off and we need to find her."

"Shit." Brad mumbled.

"Brad this is your fault so the least you can do is stop feeling sorry for yourself and help us find her."Connor sneered. I shot him a look warning him that he needed to calm down.

"Hang on, let me call Tris first, I know he probably won't pick up but it's worth a try." I stopped them and pulled out my phone and calling his number.

"Hello," he groaned after it rung a couple of times, he obviously wasn't awake enough to remember he wasn't talking to us but we needed him.

"Tris, it's James. Before you hang up just listen to me, I'm not going to beg you to come back or anything but you just need to know." I told him hurriedly.

"Go on" he sounded worried as he could probably sense my tone of voice.

"Elle came back, Brad cheated on her and now we don't know where she is. She ran off and we're searching for her so please just come and help us." I didn't listen to what he had to say. I just hung up and began the search for Elle with the others.
