My Basketball Dream

I put my foot into the circle, ready for the toss-up. The umpire blew the whistle. I ripped the ball out of the air and threw it to Kyla. She caught it and bounced it up to the goal ring. She shot, but missed, and my friend Melanie got the rebounds. She got it in. Then, it was the other teams ball at the white line. My name is Valicia Lavinn. I do basketball with three of my best friends, Melanie Adams, Alana Danal and Sally Ponting. The other team is the mean girls, that consists of stupid, brainless, ugly people. a.k.a, Laynie Evanson, Hally Conroe and Elise Carding. The other two were Ciara Mason and Emily Handsle, who just joined basketball, and had no choice but to join the mean girls or the, Golden Glitter Girls! As their name stated. We were called the Shooting Stars. Annie Jackson is also in our team. Our coach is called Aurillia Phillips, but we call her Aura. The umpire was Lisiana, who we call Lisa. Lisa was in year 7, and she was Sally's big sister. We only play in school. But last term, Alana, Mel and I did inter schools. I defended the overly idiotic Laynie. Melanie thinks that word is rude. Then, poo-face Elise throws the ball to Emily. Ahhrgghhh! Lana! You're supposed to be defending her! Don't just chat with Sally! I thought angrily. Then, Emily passed the ball to Ciara, who easily gets the ball, since Sally is having a mothers meeting with Alana. Finally, Melanie gets the ball when Bum-head Elise passes to Hally.

Melanie was defending Hally.

Alana was (supposed to be) defending Elise.

Sally was (also supposed to be) defending Ciara.

Annie was defending Elise. But Elise is the tallest in the year level, so she can't really. I'm the third tallest.

Alana and Sally were giggling together. I passed the ball to Annie, and Elise got called for contact for scratching Annie.

Then, we won by 5 goals. 17-12.
