"Are you sure about your decision? You do know you have a whole life ahead of you, don't you? Think it over, princess," Dad's voice kept repeating in my head, playing like an old record.

I knew the outcome of my decision if Mum found out about it but I'm willing to bear the consequences, I really am. I didn't want to lose this opportunity because what if it wasn't going to come by again? What if all that has had happen so far was a sign of some sort? Call me mad but I truly believe there's something behind all the actions and choices I made.

I looked up at Dad who's sitting there on his L-shaped beige coloured sofa, waiting ever so patiently for my answer. He smiled when our eyes met. I gave Dad a small smile before nodding my head. I walked over from where I was standing and sat down next to him.

"Don't worry Dad, I'm sure of this. I mean, I can't really say I'm 100 percent sure but yes, I'm sure. I just need your support, prayers and blessings for all of this to work out."

Dad pulled me into a tight hug and truth be told, I needed that. I needed the assurance that someone was going to stand by me. I needed the assurance that someone was going to have faith in me despite all the choices and decisions I was going to make in the future. The decision that I was going to take on that day was a huge resolution in my life, at that point of time at least. I never thought I'd have to think of something like this in my entire life. To do something so drastic like this. To even have these kind of thoughts at this age.

After thinking of all those things, one thing still remained in my mind.

'What did you get yourself into, Sav?'
