7:30 am
my alarm goes off.
"What a time to be alive", I muttered. "oh well, good morning self, don't let anything ever embarrass you today" As I got up out of bed, I quickly looked into the mirror. Nothing special will happen today anyway, I thought. I let out a sigh of relief when I finally noticed I was wearing Tao's tee shirt. It's so comfortable and it smells like him. It reminds you of his presence. His warm hugs. I miss him. I miss my best buddy,big brother and my boyfriend. Of course, the thought of Tao made me check my phone.
5 messages, 2 missed calls. All from Tao.
"Babe?"
"You awake?"
"How are you?"
"I miss you."
"god of course it's 4:30 in the morning you're still sleeping. I'm sorry. if ever you're reading this right now go back to sleep let's talk when you wake up okay? I love you"
I blushed at the thought of Tao thinking of me at 4:30 in the morning. What an idiot.
"I miss you too Tao, im now awake pumpkin. I can't wait to hug you and squissssh your cheeks."
I was waiting for his reply. I'm pretty sure he's awake. Tao's the type of person who wakes up really early in the morning and never goes back to sleep again. Brave heart. It makes me quite sad that he's nowhere near me. He's been really busy due to their schedules. They do a lot of promoting and tours. Just like every hardworking artist in the world. We haven't seen each other for almost a month now. But then it made me think that I was really lucky to be Tao's girlfriend. Despite of his busy career, he still finds time to send me a message and tell me that he loves me. Even if we're in different timezones. god I love him.
I still haven't recieved any reply from him.
While waiting, I went downstairs to make myself breakfast. I opened the windows and unlocked the door to let the fresh morning air circulate in my little minimalist appartment.
As I opened the door, my eyes widened because of what I saw. I saw Tao. He's sleeping infront of my door. I don't know what to feel. I stared completely at his sleeping face. I missed him so much and I can't wait to hug him and squish his cheeks but I am torn between doing it and just stare at his face for a long time. I mean, who can't resist a sleeping Tao?
I sat down beside him. That's when he felt that I was there. Beside him. He opened his eyes slowly. He looked so tired. But when he saw my face he smiled and hugged me. It was a moment to savor.
"I missed you so much"
"I missed you too."
Those were the words that we keep on saying to each other. The warmth of his hug while rubbing my back made me feel so safe. The way he towers over me made me blush a little more.
"Tao, why don't we go inside and talk there" I smiled.
"Sure come on!" His excitement overpowered his tiredness. He seems so happy to see me. He grabbed my hand and went inside the apartment.
We're sitting on the sofa comfortably. His hands still interwined with mine.
"I wasn't really expecting for you to be here today Tao. Thank you."
"Well it was our day off. Hyung let us choose a place wherever we want to go for 3 days."
"And you chose to be here."
"right."
I looked into his eyes and smiled.
You spent the rest of the day with Tao. Watching movies and exchanging stories. At the end of the day, the words that slept of your mouths were
