New years eve

Chapter 35-

"Merry Christmas and happy holiday" I sang dancing throughout the kitchen.

"Val stop singing so loudly, just focus on the cooking please. Plus christmas is over. Its a new years party" Jayk laughed coming into the kitchen.

"You know Jayk I would have everything perfectly ready for tomorrow nights party, if I had a few helping hands" I hinted at him.

"Yeah right! Maybe T.C can help you" he suggested, so I texted him to come down to the kitchen to help me. To my surprise he actually showed up.

"So what do I do?" T.C asked.

"Well, can I get you to take out the turkey I have in the fridge while I chop these vegetables?" I asked him.

"Sure, oh wait do you want me to chop the vegetables instead?" He asked.

"NO! Don't you dare touch the knife that's in my hand, please. I don't need another huge scar on my hand" I told him.

"Ok, don't worry" he said.

"Oh Jayk" I called him into the kitchen.

"What?" He asked annoyed cause he was watching a basket ball game when I called him.

"I hope you don't mind but I invited Sandra to our party tomorrow night. She has no where else to be and I felt bad!" I told him.

"That's fine" he said fast and went back to his game. Oh ok wow, that was easy.

"Unofficial happy new year everybody" I say to the whole crowd of people in our house, signaling them to get their party on. I can't believe it's already New Years and everybody is here! Even David from VFC is here. Sandra is also here chatting with some of my brothers friends outside of the band... And Brianna hasn't shown up yet, I asked her to bring along skyler, but skyler is always busy. She is a model so of course she's always busy.

The door bell rang and I just prayed for it to be Bri. My prayers were answered as I opened the door to Brianna and... Shane?

"Briii" I hugged her.

"And oh my god Shane, I haven't seen you since we were kids, how are you?" I asked hugging him. Shane, Bri and I have been best friends since kindergarten. But I used to move around a lot because of VFC and Shane moved out of town all together, so we kinda lost touch. I can't believe he's here, I wonder where Bri found him lol.

"Hey Val I've missed you guys so much. I'm good thanks. I'm glad Bri found my twitter and tweeted me" he said.

"Oh my god, come in guys. Oh wait a second" I said closing the front door.

"Are you guys like on some sort of date?" I asked them in a hushed tone.

"Ha ha yup, I'm here to make Blake jealous, and make him realize the mistake he made breaking up with the beautiful Brianna here" he said putting his hand on top of her head and messing up her hair.

"Heyyyyy" she complained and pushed him.

"Aww you guys make the perfect fake couple, good luck" I told them and went to find Devin. I know he's here I just haven't seen him in a while.

"Hey Valerie, this is a great party thanks so much for inviting me, I've been meeting so many nice people" Sandra said stopping me in my search or Devin.

"Oh no problem, meeting any cute guys?" I teased her. She's such a beautiful woman I don't understand how she hasn't got a boyfriend.

"Oh Valerie no, I'm really not searching for anyone at the moment. I'm just going with the flow. If he just so happens to say hey than fine but you never know" she said.

"Oh yah and also I just don't, woah!" She said starting to fall over when some dude ran by her.

Drew's P.O.V

"Woah!"

"Oh my gosh you okay?" I asked the girl who just literally fell into my arms.

"Um yah, thanks" she said.

"No problem"woah she's kinda hot.

"I'm Drew" I told her.

"I'm Sandra, I'm Val's home school teacher" she said gesturing to her side.

"And she's gone" she smiled politely.

"Hey Sandra do you want to get a drink?" I asked her. Yup I'm so over Bri she's with some other really muscular guy here anyways.

"Sure" she smiled and took my hand as I lead her into the kitchen.

Valerie's P.O.V

*Devin where are you?* I texted him after leaving Sandra and Drew to meet each other alone.

*Come down the back hall* he texted back, and I did as told.

There was almost no one in the back hall, thank god no one will see me and Devin.

"Devin" I whispered, no answer.

"Devin" I whisper yelled this time. Than I suddenly felt a tug at the sleeve of my dress. Witch is all white reaching my knees and had long white lace sleeves.

As I turned I was pulled into the large coat closet we have in the house and there he was. Finally I can stop worrying.

"Devin, you actually scared the shit outta me" I complained.

"Awww do you need a kiss to make you feel better?" He asked his lips pouted.

"Yes" I said with my lips pouted and my arms crossed over my chest.

"3, 2, 1, happy new year" I whispered to Devin than kissed him we are still chilling in the closet. We can hear everybody else screaming outside.

"Lets go, I know for sure the guys are probably looking for us" Devin said after pulling away.

We walked out of the closet and in to the crowded part of the house and sure enough T.C ran up to me to tell me he was looking for me everywhere. I didn't really pay much attention I couldn't take my eyes off of Sandra and Drew kissing. Wow that happened fast maybe it's just a New Years kiss. Than I turned to see Jayk making out with some girl, seriously Jayk?! Than I turned to the right of me and just saw Blake giving a death stare to Shane who Brianna was hugging tightly. Guess their plan is working.

"Thanks so much for coming guys and Shane it was so nice seeing you again after so long. I can't wait to hang out again. Oh Bri? Girls night next weekend?" I asked as she and Shane were walking out the door.

"Sure Val" Bri said.

"And same to you Val, you have my number so text me whenever!" Shane encouraged and try walked back to Shane's car together, Blake still starring down at Shane, guess the whole jealousy thing worked.

"Valerie thank you so much for inviting me tonight, it was such a great party, and Drew is such a fantastic guy. I'm happy to say that I'm done searching for a boyfriend, even though I wasn't searching tonight. Anyway just thanks so much" Sandra gushed standing by me at the front door.

"No problem and I'm so happy for you guys, he really is a good guy" I told her.

"I know, thanks again, I'll see you soon. Bye" he said and walked to her own car.

Jayk's girlfriend I think already left, but who can be for sure with Jayk right? Devin is gonna spend the rest of the night here tonight good thing cause we can sneak around a little more.
