I come to the entry of the throne room where Thor awaits me.
"How do you feel? he asks as soon as I approach him.
"Better!" I say smiling.
"Good! Ready to face Odin?" he joked.
"I think so!"
We enter the room.
The same room where my eyes met Loki's eyes for the first time.
"My son."
I look to the back of the room and there stands Odin sitting with all his splendor. "Father" answered Thor.
"What is she doing here?" Odin asks in a neutral tone.
"Father she..." I touch Thor's shoulder interrupting him.
He understands from my look that I want to be me speaking.
"Sir I wanted to speak to you..."
"I'm listening."
"I want...I mean, I'd like to know more about me. My origin. Who I really am..." I say determinately
"You were very young...Perhaps that's why you don't remember...Tell me...Do you know what you are?" I lie to him by shaking me head.
"Poor child..." he says, eyes full of compasion.
I feel slightly bad for lying but I didn't mean no harm. I said I didn't know my origin or who I really was. But on that point I was one hundred percent truthful. I only lied as to what I am. I know what I am.
I'm an angel.
But of course that if I said that I knew what I am he would ask me who told me.
And then I would have to talk about my master.
About what I was trained to do.
"Philippa?" Thor called touching my shoulder and interrupting my thoughts.
"Did you hear what my father told you?"
"Thor, let her be...It's normal being like that..." Odin said leaving the throne and walking in our direction. "She's about to find out the truth about herself...it's normal that she's like this...confused and afraid of the truth that might appear..." said Odin smiling at me.
It was a caring smile, full of compasion .
"Well...first of all we have to go to the library..." says Odin.
"Library? Do what?" Thor asks confused.
"First we have to talk about the origin of the universe."
"Sir...I don't know anything, really anything, about the origin of the universe..." I say innocently.
"Don't worry child...All at it's time..."
"What about Loki?" Thor asks "Don't you have to go train with him?" Thor asked me. "Loki wasn't going to train me today" I lie.
"Thus we better not lose any more time" said Odin slamming his scepter in his hand.
We left the throne room and walked through corridors that I'd never seen before.
The corridors were worth being watched.
The ceiling was covered in golden flowers.
The floor in stone that glistened our reflection, and in the walls were countless paintings.
But out of all that beauty my eyes focused in a simple painting.
It was a lady with her hair tied up.
She was gorgeous. Her lips were thin and expressive. Eyes bright and wild.
She wore a light blue dress which brought out even more the color of her eyes.
"I see you've already met my wife..." I turn around and see Odin looking at the painting.
"She's beautiful." Odin smiles but it's weak smile. A sad smile.
It's in that moment that I remember what Loki told me. His mother died during an invasion...
"I'm sorry for you loss..." I say. Odin looks at me and smiles.
"You have a good heart... I'm sorry for reacting that way when we first met... but you'll understand why and I hope you understant me." said Odin in a neutral tone.
"Father..." Thor calls.
"Lets go." Odin says.
Thor looks at me and gives me a friendly smile.
I smile back.
Why did Loki snap at Thor like that the other day?
He is so sweet and nice.
We arrived at the entry of the library but before we got in Odin looked at me.
"Ready for the truth?" he asks seriously.
I nod and he opens the doors of the library.
