"Are you sure you want to do this, lad?" King Robin asks with uncertainty in his voice, "I can always send my best guards to do the job."

Louis shakes his head at the King's suggestion, "that won't be necessary, your Majesty. Besides, I'll have Liam and Niall with me."

"That's another thing..." The King looks over to the blonde boy, "Niall, you're practically a brother to Harry. And like my own son. Please promise me that you all will be careful."

"We will, King Robin." Niall answers with a reassuring smile, just as Louis places a hand on his shoulder.

"I promise no harm will come to my boyfriend's best friend. Nor Liam. But I can't promise myself. I'll do anything to get the antidote for Harry. I love him..." A stray tear slides down his face, showing how much he truly means his words.

A sad smile forms on the King's face, "I know you do. And I'm very much grateful for that. But please, try not to get yourself hurt. Harry won't like seeing his boyfriend injured because of him."

"Will do, your Highness."

For the next few hours, the three lads began packing things they needed for their trip. The journey to the Kingdom of Mundesy wouldn't take long. About a six hour long carriage ride to be exact. But Louis insisted they take the royal horses for faster travel. Of course, King Robin agreed and made sure the three had enough food packed with them as well.

Time flew and it was finally time to leave. Louis went to Harry's room one last time and placed a kiss on the boy's forehead, whispering under his breath, "I'll be back soon, Haz, don't worry. You know I'll always come back to you."

Anne and Gemma could only stare at the scene from the Prince's doorway, not wanting to disrupt the sentimental moment.

Seconds pass by and Louis whispers one last "I love you" before turning to head downstairs.

He sees the Queen and Princess and flashes them a weak smile.

"You take care of yourselves, alright?" Anne brings the feathery haired lad in a warm embrace.

"We will, Queen Anne."

But if he has to risk getting hurt in order to obtain the antidote then he won't hesitate to face through whatever obstacle comes at him.
------

Niall and Liam were already on their horses when Louis exited the castle, having to swear that they'll come back in one piece.

"You ready, lads?"

"Born ready." Niall bravely responds, "I've always wanted to help save a damsel in distress."

"Harry is no damsel, Ni." Louis retorts as he mounts his horse.

"He's unmarried though."

"Let's talk about this another time. When our beloved Prince is awake and capable of saying I do to Louis' proposal." Liam interrupts, winking at his best mate who blushes at his words.

Do they actually think him and Harry will get married?

He's nothing but a simple nineteen year old boy working in his uncle's bakery as a cashier.

He barely has anything to offer except unconditional love.

Will that suffice?

He only wants the very best for his darling boyfriend. Harry deserves the world.

But right now, he must focus on finding the antidote to wake up the curly haired Prince.

And maybe after, he can contemplate whether he is good enough for the younger boy or not.
------

The three lads kick off on their trip after waving goodbye to the royal family. So once they were out of the Kingdom's grounds, Louis goes to ask his smart best friend.

"Okay Li, which way?"

"Hmm..." The boy hums, checking the map given to him by King Robin, "looks like we'll be heading east."

"Alright, let's get a move on. Hiya!" He snaps the reigns on his horse, getting the majestic animal to whiney and gallop along the woods. Niall and Liam on each of his sides.

"Excellent work, Princess Taylor." King Cowell praises, sitting triumphantly on his throne.

"Thank you, your Highness. All we need to do now is get the Prince and your kingdom is saved." Taylor says, feeling proud of herself.

Both royals were oblivious to the young Princess watching them from behind a pillar.

Averie has to admit, she suddenly isn't keen on what her father is doing. Sure, she still wants the Prince, but will that make her happy? Harry won't be. No doubt on that. So what's the point?

Ever since she was young, her father gave her everything she wanted. From all kinds of toys, dresses, tiaras, to even friends. Talk about spoiled brat.

But lately, Averie has noticed her father's desperation on wanting her to have a King so she can rule Mundesy and bear their next heir.

She's starting to question if the only reason her father granted all of her wishes is so that he can have what he wants in the end...

4 hours of travel had passed, and the three friends stopped at a meadow to rest themselves and their horses.

Liam handed out some snacks, Niall pouting when he only receives three sandwiches.

"This isn't enough for me, Liam."

"We don't know how long we'll be away, Ni."

Knowing the lad was right, Niall sighs but nods, stealing a glance over to Louis, "hey, what's got you all quiet?"

"Just... I don't know." Louis groans. Frankly, he does know, but is clueless to the reason, too.

Like, what if this was all a trap? What if Harry won't wake u- no. He can't think like that.

He promised Harry he'll be back.

He promised to get the antidote.

He promised that, no matter what, he will always come back to him.

The blue eyed lad looks up from his gaze on the ground, meeting eyes with his friends, "ready to get a move on?"

"Yup."

So once they were on their horses, Liam points to the direction of Mundesy and the three friends are back to focusing on their mission of saving their friend/lover.
