In the Morning

The sun slowly began to rise, its gentle rays peeking in through the cracks in the wooden shack the lovers shared. As the sun crept over Shrek's eyes, he began to drift back into consciousness and remember the night before. He sighed and stretched a little, then looking over at his sweet Yoda still asleep next to him. After a long night of rough, unforgiving Shrex™️, the two were tired. Shrek smiled a little, thinking of the long life the two would get to share and the things to come. Shrek laid back and stared up at the ceiling, lost in his mind. Soon Yoda began to awaken as well, letting out a low grumble as he opened his wrinkly dull eyes. Shrek sat back up and leaned over his sweet prince, gently placing a kiss on his forehead, which was as vast as the great seas with his receding hairline. Shrek's breath reeked of the morning and aged onions, but that was nothing new. Yoda chucked quietly. This was music to Shrek's ears, Yoda's laughter sounded like the last caws of an old bird who had just been hit with a rock.
"Good morning, sweet shroom,"
Shrek said, his Thicc™️ accent made everything he said a dream.
"Did you sleep well?"
Yoda slowly grinned,
"Quite hard it is, sleeping, after such a rough night of Shrex™️."
Shrek laughed, the deep sound came from the very bottom of his chest,
"Well, ye liked it, didn't ye?"
Yoda only looked at Shrek in response. It was his look, nobody else ever looked at Shrek that way. Yoda's dull, old eyes were suddenly filled with a sparkle of lust, his thin grandma lips curled up in just the right way that made it difficult to resist him.
Shrek grinned again, this time fully showing his rotten and missing teeth.
"I'm gonna go make us some breakfast."
He said this quietly, slowly climbing off of the old torn up mattress that was covered in yellow sweat stains and various other mystery liquids.
Yoda watched his king walk out of the bedroom with the same look. This was his forever.
