Rebekah kept driving with the sleeping infant in the back seat. She came across a small, almost-empty restaurant. She pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant, that only had a few cars in it, probably from the workers there.
She decided she wanted to keep a human reputation, hoping her sleeping niece would do the same to prevent anyone from suspecting what they are, or having anyone coming after her. That was the whole reason why Nik had given Hope to her, to protect her, since if the witches knew she was alive, they would be after her for sacrifices. She got out of the car, getting out the car seat holding a sleeping Hope, then grabbing the diaper bag before going into the restaurant.
"Oh she looks like her mother.Maybe there is a god after all." Rebekah said, holding her niece for the first time.
"Well she has a hint of the devil in her eyes. That's all me." He replied.
She goes to a booth and sits down, putting the car seat next to her,and the diaper bag under the table, next to her legs. Rebekah looks at the now wide awake, and bright eyed baby. "Hey there baby girl." She said sweetly and softly. A waitress comes to the table and placed a menu on the table, looking at the little one. "Aww she's so cute! what would you like to drink to start off?" the waitress asked. "Just a coffee. You can take the menu back i'm not ordering anything else." Rebekah replied, handing it back to her. She didn't care much for human food. She got a baby bottle out full of water, and put the formula powder in it,shaking it as the waitress left the table. Hope watched her, and opened her mouth for the bottle and sucked on it eating what was inside it. The waitress came back with the coffee and sit it down on the table before leaving again.Rebekah drank her coffee with one hand and bottle fed Hope with the other. When the baby was done, she took her out of the carseat and burped her,as Hope threw a fit over her taking the bottle away. After Rebekah was done burping Hope, she put her back in the carseat, and buckled her in with a pacifier, before rocking her carseat, putting the baby asleep. After she had finished her coffee, she payed the bill, left a tip. then left.
Rebekah continued to drive towards the house. She had to figure out how she was going to hunt without leaving the baby along, or with a babysitter, it was too risky, she doesn't know how she would act around humans yet. She pulled into the driveway of her house. She smiled, parking the car,and going inside the house with the baby and her stuff.
"Welcome Home Hope."
