It hurts. Say it as you like but it was too painful. Standing there like a mannequin and watching the man who owns your heart being swayed by a perfect woman who has everything that you have to live without.

Sunni stood and he stood for as long as his legs bear him to do such. The conversation between Lady Cerena and King Taizan has extended to a long period of time to his dismay. Taizan was fascinated and amazed. It's impossible, it is...but Sunni could feel it in his bones, it was giving him chills that the king was reacting towards lady Cerena.

He was giving her so much attention that he completely forgot that Sunni was standing there and hearing all of this flirtatious signals between the both of them. Taizan was too lost in his own world that he forgot that Sunni was in that world too.

And Lady Cerena is the exact lady that she is. She is beautiful and full of colors. Anything that Sunni is not. Tired of the scene in front of him, Sunni quietly retreat from the gardens and make his way towards the kitchen ground. He turns to look back at the king and of course...the man did not even notice.

Sunni gave out a sigh and proceed to walk away. It felt like he was walking away from his own fear and true enough, it's a fear that he could never overcome for that fear was never his own to claim.

Sunni looked for Arnand figure in the kitchen and right then he saw the young man on the stool next to a busy working Darius measuring up all the ingredients. He walked right up to him.

"Good morning." Sunni bids as Arnand replied.

"I'm sorry I could not get to you earlier. The king was having a meeting with the future queen."

"Oh that's fine. Darius here were keeping me company." Arnand gave a big smile to Darius.

"That's right! And I'm a good company to keep!" Darius cause the others around to laugh for God knows the meaning of his jokes.

"Of course he is. Would you take a walk with me?" Sunni invited Arnand.

"Of course."

Sunni leads the younger man to the other side of the garden castle and contemplated on how to bring his presence to meet with the king.

"How long are you planning to stay here?" Sunni asked first.

"For as long as it takes me to have an answer I suppose."

"Even for weeks and months?"

Arnand stoped in his tracks. "Sunni..." he began, with the look of pain and desperation in his eyes describing everything that he could not say with words. "I have a family. They need to survive and they need me to be there with them. I'm sure you can understand that."

Sunni nods. Of course he understands. He liked to think that he has the biggest family there ever was. He has tons of brothers and sisters. But then again, it has been too long since he have gone back home, too long of a night to even remember.

"I do. I'm sorry; it was an idiotic thing to say. Forgive me."

"No that's fine. I'm sure you were having difficulties on your own."

There it is...a slight of Armand's good nature in his little brother. Sunni couldn't help but smiles and when he smiles, his mind reminded him of the tragedy that took place and immediately it put him back on square one.
