Hello Everyone! I'm so sorry that I haven't updated in a while , I just haven't felt myself recently and I didn't feel able to update....but I finally managed, I know its short but hopefully another chapter will come soon. Thank you all for being so patient!!

Exams have come to us so quickly and disappeared just as fast. Everyone was getting their results at school tomorrow and in all honesty, I was crapping myself. Exams were ridiculously hard. So much information to recall and it was beyond stressful. I used up my time wisely and tried my best. And in reality, that's all people can ask of you, is your best. Everyone helped each other out. we had study evenings around each other's houses and binged out on food. Like most people when doing exams, everyone has a moment of sheer panic and Brent had quite a few of those moments. But Sophie helped him out a lot and we all got through it.

I texted Ryan a quick goodnight text and headed upstairs to my room. Adam was probably even more nervous than I was. Now that mum had left he put his 'parent hat' on as he called it. and he truly was amazing. He was beyond supportive and bought me endless amount of food and helped me as much as he could. And let's just say that Adam isn't the brightest person on the planet.

I climbed into bed and took my prosthetic leg off. I flicked my bedside lamp on and closed my eyes, hoping my nerves would let me have a few hours of sleep.

"Amber, it's time to get up lazy butt!" Adam shouted from the bottom of the stairs. I rubbed my eyes. Today was the day. I took a deep breath and sat up. I put my prosthetic leg on and stood up and stretched. The nerves had grown and butterflied were zooming around in my stomach. I got the clothes I was going to wear today out of my wardrobe: a yellow sunflower dress and a pair of white converse. I walked down the stairs and plonked myself at the table in the kitchen. Adam was obviously waiting for me and he had a large grin plastered on his face.

"Well sis, today is the big day" he sighed. I breathed a heavy sigh of anticipation.

"Yep it is" I mumbled, my nerves getting the better of me.

"It's ok to be nervous Amber, in all honesty It doesn't matter what you get, your life doesn't revolve around these results I promise you that. Just so you know I will be proud of you no matter what that bit of paper said because you worked so hard" he said as his bottom lip wobbled a bit. I got out of my chair and walked right into his arms.

"Thank you, Adam," I whispered.

"Anything for you Amber" he replied as he kissed the top of my head.

We both finished breakfast and got into Adam's car. The journey to school was torturous. I was sweating like crazy and my heart was racing. We pulled up to the school gates and out of the corner of my eye I saw Ryan chatting with Sophie and Brent.

"You've got this Amber, do you want me to come with you?" he asked. I looked up at him and a big grin grew on my face.

"Of course, I wouldn't want anyone else to come with me" I laughed slightly. We both got out of the car and met the others.

"Are we ready to go in?" Adam asked everyone and we all said yes. We made our way into the main hall and all found our names on our individual envelopes. We all grouped into a circle, looking at each of our closed envelopes in anticipation.

"We will open it on the count of three" Ryan said, his voice shaking slightly. Everyone nodded. "Ok on the count of three...one.... two.... three.... Go!" he said, and everyone ripped their envelopes open. I looked down at mine and I felt like crying with joy. I got mostly B's and C's with a few A's in all of my subjects. I looked up at everyone has similar reactions. Everyone had passed each of their exams, some at a higher level than others but what mattered the most was that we were all happy.

I showed Adam my results. His face was scrunched up in concentration as he read the numbers and letters. After being finished reading he looked straight up at me and tears began to flow from his eyes.

"I'm so proud of you!" he squealed making everyone laugh. All my stress had disappeared, and I felt so happy and so free.

"well I think that we should celebrate.... It's party time!" Mia shouted.
