Chapter 5~ Movies and Confessions

~Anas POV~

Once we reach the school, we get outta Taylor's truck and everybody was about to go their separate ways when someone picks me up and carries me to his car.

He gently puts me in the passenger seat and closes the door. He rushes to the other side and sits in the driver seat. I look next to me and I'm surprised to see Shawn sitting next to me.

“Sorry I ‘stole' you, but we need to talk.”

“Okay. What's so important you have to kidnap me?" I ask, smiling.

“You might not know what is going on, but the guys do. Cam and Carter both like you. I don't know which one you like but you need to choose one soon. While at Forever 21 they were about to kill each other. They text each other and fight. They even planned to meet up and fight once. Choose one soon or else they will ruin everyone's friendship."

When Shawn finishes, I'm almost in tears. “Why didn't anyone tell me sooner? If I would've known, I would've talked to them. I like them both as friends and maybe a little more. If I have to, I guess I'll choose one, but it'll break my heart. Thanks for telling me Shawn." I say, giving him a hug.

“I hate to make anyone sad, but you needed to know." Shawn said, clearly upset.

“It's okay. I have to go find my sister and make a tough decision. I'll need a couple days to think. Thanks again Shawn," I said while exiting his car. He waves and drives off.

I look around the parking lot for Lilyana or Hayes, but I didn't find anyone. I feel a tap on my shoulder and I jump. I spin around and find Carter.

“Sorry. I didn't mean to scare you." Carter said.

“It's fine. I scare easily. So can we talk?"

“Um. Sure.? Is it bad?" Carter asked as we walk to his car.

“Kinda. So Shawn told me about you and Cam."

“Oh," Carter said, disgusted at the mention of Cameron's name.

“Look. I like both of you. And hearing what is going on hurts me a lot. I care about you both a lot. I've only known you guys for 2 days now, and I don't want to hurt anyone. Shawn said I'm tearing apart your friendship. I don't want that. So what I'm going to do is go on one date with each of you. Whoever I like more by the end of the two dates, is the one who I'll date. "

I glance up and smile at her words. “Okay. That sounds fair to me." One date with the girl I am falling for. Perfect.

I decide to text Cameron on the way to the store and give him the news. He replies with a simple ‘Okay'.

‘Are we cool then?'

‘Yeah. Of course.'

We reach the store and find Matt, Hayes, and Lilyana with a shopping cart full of cookies, pizza, and soda. Ana and Lilyana hug each other while I join the guys and talk.

“So what's all of this for?" I ask.

“Oh. There's a movie night at Cameron's. You can come if you want, but we didn't know if you guys were speaking again," Hayes mumbles, while glancing at the ground.

“It's okay. We're trying to work things out," I said slightly smiling.

The girls join us and we walk over to the checkout. The total ends up being just over twenty dollars.  We go or separate ways and drive to Cameron's.

The drive there was silent except for the radio playing, and Ana quietly singing along. “So what kind of music do you like?" I ask when the song's over.
