"That's like the 36th time you've played that song today Kyle, you're gonna start to hate it on the 40th and I bet you don't even understand a thing" Mark complains as he heard again the beat that has filled their unit since they've moved in this morning. But he got to admit it was catchy and all even though he doesn't understand cause it's in Chinese but a bop is a bop whichever language it is.
"You know there's like this thing called TRANSLATION right? You need to try it sometimes cause it really helps. And I've seen you bobbing your head to the beat already so I'm taking it as you liking the song. Admit already that I really have good music taste!" the younger beams as he turned up the volume and tried his best to sing along with his messed up mandarin.
The two have just moved in to the new condominium unit their parents bought for them. Mark and Kyle have been bestfriends since they were 7 and practically grew up together and have since been inseparable. Mark is 6 months older than Kyle and because he only had an older sister and Kyle and his brother was 10 years apart, Mark and Kyle have grown like real brothers. They applied in the same University which both of them passed - Mark in the Political Science program and Kyle in the Fine-Arts program. They decided to live together to save the hassle of living alone or living with strangers. Their parents of course had no problem with it and bought a condominium unit near the university for the both of them to live in.
It has been 6 hours since their parents left them on their own and both of them busied themselves with arranging the things around the unit. Not that they have to arrange a lot since everything was already arranged and laid down by their parents a week ago. The two boys then decided to chill in the living room with the same song, "All About You", playing in the background since this morning. University is going to start in a week and both of them is excited and at the same time worried. They need to make new friends and this time they actually had to do it alone, the socializing thing, since they now belong to different departments. They haven't said a thing about it but they already know some things were going to change, but they're bros so no worries -------- atleast both of them hope so.
