England left fairly quickly after that. He was most likely fed up with whatever stress-inducing hell that came out of my mouth, although I honestly wasn't sure what that was supposed to mean, considering that the blond was instigating almost everything. I simply propped myself up on the bed, listening to the vague, muffled ocean water I could almost hear through the window.
Something that sounded remotely like muffled shouting broke my peace. I glanced out of the thin window, catching what seemed to look like... a moving military fort...? Somehow, 'Brows got over there quick enough to yell at this kid riding a goat (while simultaneously swabbing the deck).
And no... that was not a euphemism for anything.
I turned away from the window. I was tired. I wanted to leave.
As if on que, a scrub clad woman (a doctor, maybe...?) opened the door. She smiled tightly. "You may go after we do one last medical examination. A man is here to see you first. He filled out all your paper work, don't worry." The woman slid out swiftly.
I frowned. Wait... what...? Who would-?
A suit clad man walked in and immediately sat down without a word. He gave me a look as if he were trying to decide what to make of me.
I let out a cough. "E-Excuse me, sir... who are you, exactly?" I asked, sitting up straighter as soon as I noticed the World Summit badge on his collar.
The man gave a curt nod. "That's a very good question, Miss Petrie. Let's get started."
