Where it all began

Seraphina POV

Monday

After the ghost disappeared, I sat on the grass. I wanted to reset the world. I wanted to travel back to the past. I wanted to DIE. I look at a blood stained knife. It's screaming "destroy me".
I grab it, inspecting it. I dig a hole in the ground. I put the knife in there. I stare at the spot, regretting everything. "One week before I fall" you say.
"I don't think so"
I turned around. I saw a girl in a black and purple cloak, with purple hair and wearing black gloves.
"Hello there"
"W-who are you?!"
"Name's Pain. Yours?"
"S-seraphina"
"Nice name"
"Thanks"
"What brings you here?"
"Um...nothing"
Pain stares at you with a worried look. At least I think. Her cloak covers her eyes with a shadow. I held out my hand. "Nice to meet you". Pain reluctantly shakes my hand.
"Nice to meet you too"
I blushed at the sight of her being what you think is "happy". She (unfortunately) notices this. "Did I spill ketchup on you?" I blushed more.
"I-I'm not b-blushing!"
"Sure you're not"

Pain POV

Her blush is really cute. Was she blushing at me though? Or was she thinking of something else? "Hey, is something wrong?"
"No"

"Liar" I say, angry. I don't think she notices though.

"Nothing is wrong. Now leave me alone." She looks pissed.

"Nope. I'm gonna help you, whether you like it or not." I wanted to protect her. I was feeling this weird feeling inside of me. My heart was beating really fast.
"Ok. Help me by leaving me alone." I could tell she wanted me to leave badly.
"What? I'm no pervert."
"Obviously I can see that."
"I'm still here" I sing. In a nice tone. I want her to think I'm really nice. My stomach feels weird. What is this feeling?!?! 

"You have a nice voice"

"Thanks"

Seraphina POV

Do I REALLY want her to be involved in this? I mean, this is already troublesome. But getting an innocent person into this mess? I don't think so. I don't want her to get hurt. "You need to leave me alo- AGH!!" I fall the floor, groaning in PAIN (damn it Author, why the pun?) Cramps are the worst. I kept screaming in pain (no pun intended this time, no using the same pun twice) I held my stomach and cried for help.
"Woah there kid. I gotcha" she then picked me up from the ground and carried me to her house. I see a shorter girl that looked like Pain, but with green hair and a green and black cloak.
"Hi there! My name is Recovery! What's yours?"
I moan in agony
"Sera-" I passed out.
"OMG! Is she ok?!?!?!"
"She's fine. I think."
I wake up 2 hours later, confused.
"Where am I?"
"My house" Pain looks at Recovery.
"I got really worried for you when you didn't wake up!" Recovery says, almost crying?
"Are you crying?"
"No! I have allergies! That is all!"
"Can I tell you something in private, Pain?"
"Sure" I drag Pain out of the room. I whisper in her ear.
"Someone is trying to kill me"
"Who?"
"Carrie"
"Who's that?"
"A person" Pain sighed and gave me a concerned look.
"Let's go then" Pain and I head outside to explore. I was then grabbed by someone.
"Found you" I recognize that voice. It was Carrie.
"What do you want?" I get knocked unconscious by Carrie.

This part contains torture and blood. Just so you all know that now.

Author POV

Seraphina wakes up screaming bloody murder as she is shocked awake.
"Ah, music to my ears." Carrie says, evilly. Anytime she tries to sleep Carrie shocks her awake and now she's moved on to a worse method of waking her up. Unfortunately, Seraphina fell asleep again. Carrie smiles. She grabs a bat, and whacks Seraphina with it. Blood is spewing from her skull. Carrie takes out some bandages. She bandages Seraphina roughly with them, even though she knew how to do it properly. Blood soaks through the bandages, rolling down Seraphina's face onto the floor. Carrie smiles at the sight of this. Carrie then grabbed something and started to-
