Kaelin's POV
"Today's the day." I smile into the mirror while my friend Jazzy messes with my white lace veil until it's perfect.
"You look beautiful Kae. Landyn is so lucky to have you." Hayden coos to me while stepping beside me in the full length mirror.
"Thanks Hayden. I'm super nervous." I shakily reply.
"Don't be hun, he loves you!" My maid of honor Kadie tells me.
I should believe them, but I don't. It doesn't matter what they tell me. I'm super nervous about this wedding, I mean I'm only 19. What kind of girl gets married at 19? Me, that's who. I've also only known Landyn for a little over a year. He was a walk in at my work. (I'm a hairdresser) I was waiting for my next appointment but it wasn't for another hour so, I told him that I could cut his hair so he didn't have to wait for one of the other hair dressers. We really hit it off and after I was done with the hair cut, he gave me his number and asked me on a date. Ever since, we've been inseparable. He's amazing and I love him but my family's still not sure about our relationship. My mothers not even coming to the wedding today. She think Landyn's fake. But I can't let this get to me. I love him and want to spend the rest of my life with him.
"Kaelin. c'mon, it's time to tie the knot." Jazzy sings to me while her and Hayden push me out of the door and into the hallway to wait for my que to walk down the isle after my bridesmaids and Landyn's groomsmen.
First Kadie and Chris.
Second Jazzy and Liam.
Third Hayden and Harry.
Next Kayla and Dustin.
And last Caitlyn and Brighton.
Now, it's my time to walk. The double doors are open and it's time for me to make my appearance.
I take my first three steps and I almost trip, crap. I look up, Landyn and I lock eyes. He smiles at me. I smile back and before I know it, I'm standing in front of him at the altar. I hand my bouquet to Kadie and lock hands with the love of my life.
The preacher man starts talking but I can't hear what he's saying. I'm lost in Landyn's breath takingly beautiful green eyes. But I'm pulled from my thoughts by a loud shout. I look over and a tall brunette with a perfect complexion is standing in the isle and Landyn rips his hands from mine.
"Landyn, what happened to us? We're meant to be together!" The girl shouts.
"Rose? What the hell are you doing here?" Landyn questions.
"I love you baby." She's stepping closer to us.
"But, Rosalie. Y-you left me." He spits.
"I know I did but, I was wrong. I'm sorry, I love you." She cries out.
What the hell is going on. I look to Landyn but he's no longer in front of me. He's ran out of the church with that Rosalie chick, leaving me alone at the altar. Whispers are being exchanged throughout the church. This is all to much from me to handle. Scrambled thoughts take over my mind. Who even is she? I thought he loved me? weren't we supposed to be together? My mother was right. I love him.
I fall to my knees. I'm sobbing, right here, in front of everyone. I hate crying in front of people, it makes me feel so weak.
What the hell just happened.
