001 (Mike Wheeler Stranger Things FF) *ON HOLD*

It's finally Tuesday. Yesterday was full of packing, packing, and more packing. I had packed Dawn's, Jane's, and my Bag. Then I also packed a bag full of bathroom essentials for everyone, and I also packed everything for the dogs. Mom packed her bag, along with the twins bags, and a bunch of food and small kitchen supplies. Mickey packed her bag and a bunch of blankets and pillows, all the comfy stuff. Then Suzie packed her bag and a bag full of games and entertainment supplies. All of the bags that were not personal bags were put into a taxi cab that Hopper hired and was shipped off to the hotel room at around 7 last night. 

It's currently 9 am and the flight leaves at 10:30. While we're in New York, we're going to be using Taxi's and Uber a lot since we're not bringing any cars with us personally. I think hopper said we're staying in the city near times square so there definitely will be a lot of walking stops near by so we should be fine if it's a nice walking day. "Come on guys, the flight leaves in an hour and a half and we still need to pack everything into the cars. And the airport is 20 minutes away" Mom said. 

We all ran downstairs with all our bags and put them by the door before doing a double check for any missing items. "Alright, so I looked it up. It's a two hour flight so It will be close to 1 pm by the time we actually land and get situated. So in reality, if you guys wanted to walk around central park or if you guys wanted to relax in the same room by the time everything is situated then that is fine by me" Mom said. We nodded and grabbed our bags and packed them into mine and mom's cars. We figured that not everything will fit in one car, along with all us kids, so we'll just take mine to the airport and keep it there till we come back. 

"Alright, Kaysie and Suzie can you go get the dogs while Mickey and I get the twins set up in the car seats?" Mom asked. We nodded and walked back inside. We grabbed the leashes from the counter and hooked up one dog at a time. I hooked up Harlem and Daimond and Suzie hooked up Ginger. We walked back outside and mom had us walk them around for a bit so they could use the bathroom before we had to leave.

I saw Jane get in the passenger side of mom's car and Dawn and the twins were in the back of the van. Mickey got into my passenger side and Suzie and I brought the dogs to my back seat after they did their business. We got into the car and I felt a knock on my window. I looked over and saw mom so I opened the door. "Tell your friends to meet up with us in the garage. When we find a spot we can tell them what floor we're on. Then we can all walk in together and fill up the plane. Hopper said it was a small plane so i'm guessing it's just for us all" I nodded and she walked back to her car.

I texted the group chat to meet us in the garage and info to what floor was soon to come. I started my engine and defogged my windows with some heat before following mom to the airport. It was about a 20 minute drive to the nearest airport. It was about 9:45. So we had a little less than an hour until the plane takes off. I parked in the garage on floor 2, luckily the garage wasn't too full. I texted the group chat that we were on floor 2, so hopefully they'll meet us soon. 

We unpacked the cars and took a hold of the dogs. "Can someone carry my bags for me please? My hands will be full with the baby seats" Mom asked. Jane grabbed her bag. We're going to be a mess walking into the airport. I have Harlem's leash on one side and my 2 bags on the other. Suzie has Ginger and her two bags. Mickey has Diamond and her two bags. Jane has her two bags along with the bigger one of mom's bags, while Dawn had her 2 bags and the smaller bag of mom's bags. Mom on the other hand had two baby carriers in her hands. It's a good thing that Hopper got us that taxi for our other supplies. We should have put our bigger bags in the taxi too. 

"What is up ladies???" I heard from down the hall. I looked over and saw Dustin. He had two bags in hands. "Thank you for taking him Mrs Thirlwall. If he is acting up please feel free to call me" Dustin's mom said. "No problem, it's a pleasure to have him with us!" My mom said. Dustin's mom kissed his cheek goodbye and was on her way. "I saw Max's car following behind me so I bet she'll be the next one to show up" Dustin said. He was right.

Max came up to us and hugged me tight. "I'm so pumped!!" She squealed. I laughed, "I can't wait to get there" Next tot show up was Will's family, then Lucas, then Steve, then finally Mike's family. "Sorry we took so long, Holly forgot her favorite toy so we had to turn back" Karen Wheeler said when they walked up to us. "No worries Karen! It's about 10 o'clock now so let's go and pack up the plane shall we?" My mom said.

We all nodded and walked across the street to the airport. "Hello, we have tickets for flight..um.." mom told the main desk lady before setting the twins down and taking out the tickets. "For flight 372 for New York" My mom said. The lady checked all our tickets and told us to wait for a assistant to take us to the plane and start packing. We all took a seat and waited for the assistant. Mike sat next to me and smiled as he sat down. "Hey Kaysie" I smiled back at him, "Hey Mike" 

"You look beautiful" I blushed and thanked him. "I can't wait to get to New York" I said. "I heard it's the city of lovers" He said smiling at me. I looked around to make sure no one was looking at us before quickly kissing his cheek. I laid my head on his shoulder, it felt like we were waiting forever. I checked my phone, 10:20. Where's the assistant?

"Sorry I'm so late everyone. I am Lew and I will be your assistant today. Follow me and I will help you pack up the plane" We all got up and followed him down twisting hallways and to the outside. "Come on, please, watch your step" He said. We all climbed onto the plane. 

"Alright, so up here, you will have all your bigger bags. In this room, we will have your smaller bags. Your animals have to be in this gate for your take off and landing, in between they can be anywhere. Then you will all be able to sit everywhere in this portion of the plane. The upper portion over there is the pilot and then down there, is where I will be and my other assistants. There is a movie player up here, you can all agree on a movie and watch it all together. We will be serving snacks through out your two hour trip with us. I hope you feel like home. Now, does anyone need to use the facilities? If not, we will let you pack up and we will soon be on our way" 

Lew waited for a response and we just shook out heads. "Alright then, you may pack up everything and we will be on your way. Oh, and Mrs, to hook up the baby carriers you just need to connect this strap onto the latch of your carrier" He added. My mom thanked him as he walked out of the plane. "Alright, strong men, would you guys be able to put the big bags up in the compartments?" My mother asked. Steve, Johnathan, and Ted took all of our big bags and put them in the upper compartments. "We can take the small bags to the room if you'd like?" Mike asked my mom with Will, Dustin, and Lucas behind him. "That would be great sweetie. Please do" 

All together they grabbed all of our carry-on's and put them into the little room. "I wanna pick out a movie! Jane come pick with me!" Dawn yelled running up the the movies, Holly followed them. Suzie, Mickey, Max and I put the dogs inside the cage and everyone else picked their seats. "We're going to watch Finding Nemo!" Dawn yelled running to the first row tugging Holly and Jane with her. 

"Do you wanna sit next to each other?" Mike nervously asked. I laughed and nodded pulling him to the last row of seats, in the far corner. "Why wouldn't I want to sit next to you?" I laughed. "I mean, I don't know, it's better to ask them assume, you know?" I nodded and reclined my seat. "Is everyone ready for take off?" Lew asked. We all said yeah. "Alright, please buckle your seat belts, your movie will begin shortly" He closed the door and I felt the plane's engine roar. 

Mike put his arm around my shoulders as I cuddled into him. He kissed the top of my head and grabbed my hand with his free hand. He intertwined our fingers and I smiled up at him. Good thing I picked the back row. Everyone is all up in the front so hopefully they won't see us and think anything of it. 

"I really like you Kaysie Thirlwall" I heard Mike whisper in my ear. "I really like you too Mike Wheeler"
