Damon sat, not far but near the parking lot of the school with a disguise. He was old and young enough to pass as one of the children's parents. He neared the pavement with a baseball cap to cover the camera's view of him and he observed the children as they started to come out of the safe sanctuary of the building. He began to near one of them, the one who was still and lost in the group. He turned and looked around quickly making sure no one was coming or noticed his actions.
He asked the child if it knew where its parents were. The child said no. Damon stood up and hiding the truth he told the child that he was giving away candy but had nowhere to put it. Poor children so easy to trick, so naive. The child's face seemed to shine brightly but then quickly backed away. Damon understood and began to lecture the child about his false dilemma, nodding consistently for effect and the child seemingly began to feel empathy for the strange man.
With ease, Damon lured the child away from the school grounds and presented him with a wrapped candy to keep him busy momentarily. The child willingly joined Damon into the car, while they drove away the innocent child began to ask questions that began to annoy him.
After a long time and in his secret hideout, Damon unleashes the truth about his intentions and brought his worse upon the child. The child wails in alarm and denies that it had been deceived. Damon laughs making sure to encourage pain and grins at the sound of the suffered shrills from the child. He was an easy catch, an easy obtruder who gave its future to Damon. It who, after a while was gone, nothing but an uninhabited mass of skin.
Damon, disappointed, picked it up and hung it like a puppet waiting for all the fluids to drain out of the useless heap.
