Autumn; '96 (Unedited)
It was a grey day. How nice.
I noticed the brises on my skin raising, i lightly touched it and hissed at the pain. "FUCK!" I screamed as it burnt the tip of my finger. I sighed and grabbed a shirt, sliding it on I grabbed my laptop bag and ran out the door not bothering to grab a jacket.
A slight drizzle fell on me as I raced to the café down the street. By the time I had arrived my green tie had tightened, I raced into the café and ordered my drink. As I had sat down the string fell limp again. I sighed running my hand through my hair as other passers had giggled at my string colour.
Scoffing, I sipped lightly on my black coffee and tried to concentrate on my work. Demons. Fucking demons, they killed everyone i tried loving even if they weren't my soul mate. "Sir, you left this." a young lady about my age with her bosom exposed directly said. "Oh thank you." I said grabbing my wallet from her hands. I smiled a tired smile and she looked at my finger and scoffed. "Disgusting." How nice.
I grabbed my stuff and headed out the door grabbing a free book from the newsstand. Once I arrived home, or my temporary home, I laid down and grabbed a pair of scissors. I held the scissors to the string and cut it. it glowed and just regenerated. It was like out of a movie. I laid there, weeping. Why? Why was I chosen for this shit? I deserve all of this pain...
