I was just about to open the door of my room when I heard my two brothers murmuring behind it.
"That's unfair. I'll be the one to knock and you'll be the one to speak since you're the eldest!"
"What? I'm the eldest so ako ang dapat masusunod."
I did not open the door and continued to eavesdrop when I suddenly got an idea.
I knocked at my own door and waited for their reaction.
"Open the door, Lewi. Mas malapit ka."
"But we were the one that supposed to knock because we're the one that's outside the room, Kuya."
"Oh fuck. She heard us."
"Stop cursing. She's behind the door."
I suppressed my laugh and wear my serious face as I open the door.
"What are you murmuring about, Kuya?"
"Lewi, tell her."
Kuya Lewi sighed and met my eyes.
"Promise me na hindi ka magagalit."
Tinaas ko ang kilay ko sa sinabi niya at tiningnan si Kuya Levi na hindi mapakali sa kamay nya. He was fiddling with his hands and he only does that when he's nervous. He saw me looking at his hands so he hid it in his back.
"And you will not ignore me after."
Napatingin ulit ako kay Kuya Lewi nang nagsalita sya. I think it's really a serious matter. I sighed.
"What is it? Just tell me."
Kuya Levi pouted.
"You still didn't replied to Lewi's condition, lil sis."
Tsk.
"Fine. I won't get angry and I will not ignore Kuya Lewi."
"What? How about me?"
"It's Kuya Lewi's condition because he'll be the one to tell me, right?"
"Wait. That's unfair! You should not ignore me too."
I ignored Kuya Levi's comment.
"So ano ba yun Kuya Lewi? Spill."
Kuya Lewi was about to say it pero tinakpan ni Kuya Levi ang bibig nya.
"LERY IS MISSING! WE WERE JUST WALKING AROUND AT THE PARK BUT HE SUDDENLY RAN AND WE CAN'T FIND HIM!"
My eyebrows furrowed as Kuya Levi shouted. When I realized what he said, I grabbed his collars even if he's so much taller than me.
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT KUYA? YOU WENT HOME WITHOUT LERY?!"
Kuya Lewi was about to escaped but I saw him so I grabbed his hand.
"DON'T TRY TO ESCAPE, KUYA. TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED OR I WILL DESTROY YOUR COLLECTIONS, I SWEAR!"
I don't care if our maids will hear me shouting. I'M MAD, REALLY MAD RIGHT NOW.
