All Might POV:
A stormy day, huh? Never would I have guess that today, would be so... gloomy? I think, maybe... Nah. Is my sadness for this day gone to the weather? Probably not. I can punch hard enough for it to rain, but I haven't meet a villain yet. Could it be young Midoriya this time? He sure can pack a punch now. My training really is great!
I felt a small smile growing on my downwards face. The road to the school was quite long today? I did walk slowly. My feet started to move faster. The day could just end soon. Wishing it never existed in the first place. The event never found place.
Some children around the age 8-10, was running towards their school. Happy that they got to see each other one more day. Not that those small ones thought about never seeing each other again. If they knew how cruel this world could be. Even through you have saved it countless times...
My watch showed that there was still half an hour before I had to go to class to teach class 1.A. I always liked to be in their class. So many personalities. Way too many stories to be told, every day. Like, they did something new each day. However, did they? Wasn't it just the same story? Just told by another mouth?
The door to my office was awful heavy today. I pushed it open and sat down in the sofa. A thought that maybe some students have seen my skinny form walking in here, didn't... didn't hit me like if it was a normal day. I sighed. At least there still was some time before I must stand up again. My eyes closed by themselves.
A knock on the door, made me open one eye. A little figure walked in and closed the door behind him.
"Good morning, All Might" The little humanoid mouse like creature said.
"Morning Principal" I moved my lips as good as I could. That too was harder than usual. Nezu took one quick look at me and then sat down on the chair in the front of the coffee table.
"You don't look as great today" Nezu said as he tucked in his tiny suit. "Something happened?" He looked in my eyes. Try to keep it cool, All Might.
"No not really" I said. "Today is just... well..."
"A bad day?"
"You can say that..." I sighed and looked down. I should have looked up, but I really didn't feel like looking at him. The feelings didn't need to come out, and he don't need to see me that down. I heard the principal say something to himself, but really get it all. Something with... mad hime? That didn't make sense.
"Say..." I forced myself to sit straight in the sofa. My back could feel the cozy fabric. "I know that may be a bad time to be at work then, but I really need you here today. We have a new student attending here around 8." a confused look was sent towards him.
"Wait? Aren't we too long into the year to do that? I could understand that maybe 2 weeks after the first exam... but... now?" Nezu looked out the window and I followed his gaze.
"She says she comes from another school in another country. So, she knows some basic" I felt some eyes on me and turned the head once again, to see Nezu looking at me. I sighed again.
"Alright, I don't really have a choice, do I?"
"Not really" Nezu jumped down from the chair. "Say, how is it going with Izuku Midoriya?"
"I would say it is going quite good" I put up my thump to show my point. The little humanoid nodded and walked for the door.
"Good. However, remember you have other things to attend to, right?" I looked over at him. "If you need help finding your old girlfriend, I think I could help" I blushed crept onto my cheeks, followed by a sharp pain in my chest.
"H-how do you..." He cut me off.
"I'm the principal, I know stuff" He smiled back at me and walked out.
I stared at the door. H-how? I felt my heart rate race up, while I looked down. A cold feeling came down upon my cheeks instead of the warm there had been moments before. I moved my hands to touch the cold. It is wet? Oh... no... I won't let this happen. Come on All Might! Smile!
A really forced smile came upon my lips. I could feel my body expand as I turned into my muscular form. The clothes became tighter and tighter for each second. A look outside. A sigh. I pulled out my wallet and found a little picture I have hid there for so many years. A bigger smile formed on my lips. This one was real. A soft smile, as I remembered the past.
There I was, way younger than I am now. It was when, myself, attended UA. When I started my life as a hero. There was another person on the picture. A girl I have known whole my life. My childhood friend.
My arm was around her neck as we were standing side to side. Both smiling brightly. Not really having a care in the world. Her (H/C) hair was blowing to her left side as I was standing on her right. My own hair was about to hit her in the face, but it blew behind her. Her one eye was open to see the beautiful (E/C) eye. The looked like... Diamonds... Rubies... Emeralds. I wish I could go back to that time and tell her, how I felt... before it was too late...
I remember who took the picture. One of our close friend from back then. She was a shapeshifter. I think... the reason we were smiling was because... our friend had turned into one of our teachers and tried to make fun of him. She failed, but that was what made it funny.
A sigh left my lips as I looked up at my watch. 5 minutes. Damn. One last look at the picture.
"Where are you... (Y/N)..."
I know this is short, but it is first chapter. Bear with me man xD
May you enjoy this bit sad part with your favorite character (maybe).
