~~"Before there's a storm and you are able to figure it out, know that you have grown wiser"~~
Forest area near( present day River Ravi)
The rustling noise of the trees, roaring sound of thunder. She knew what she was doing and she had to do it.
"When do you think is she going to see us"? she was walking much faster than her usual pace.
When she didn't get a response for the next few minutes , she turned around to find the guard ashened at the site of a skeleton lying next to him. She couldn't leave him there, so walked upto him and pulled him along with her .
After walking for another hour they reached the seer's hut. This was the place where she would receive answers to all the questions which have been haunting her for the past twenty summers.
Near Lothal (Present Day Gujarat)
It was a full moon day and the sea waves seemed to have no bounds. Each one hit the shore , stronger than the previous one.
It must have been a storm that Abaddon had created himself. Waves as high as 100 feet thrashed the hull, and rocked the deck. Torrential rain poured down in icy sheets like needles upon one’s face. Claps of thunder sounded that pierced through the eardrums and lightening like Poseidon’s sword forked through the clouds and the sea itself burned in it.
Just like his heart beat each of them were beating harder. He knew he didn't have much time left and he must inform the boy regarding the dangers that she would face.
"Come here boy , the first thing that you must know ?" he spoke in a ragged manner "she must be protected no matter what".
The boy could only nod as hushed tone reached his ears.
"They will try to kill her ", he continued slowly " just like her mother".
The old man coughed blood , he knew he had been poisoned and it was none other than the lad who was sitting in front of him " He is waiting for her to get back", he coughed louder. " Take her back to Harappa".
Tears clouded the lads vision, he knew he committed a sin , unforgettable. Yet there was nothing else he could do, they would kill this man brutally and this was the best way for him to leave this Earth.
I am sorry sir.
"Run to the closest house, near the dockyard", his voice quite low now "in the right, tell them you are her messenger and you did whatever was decided".
Before the lad could run away , the old man almost shouted " show them your tattoo".
Within seconds the boy was out of his sight.
I hope they know, who they are dealing with. They can't win , nor kill her, he thought before taking the last breath.
Back in the villa( Harappa City)
A storm was about to rise , the trees bent back and forth, the howls and moans of the wind could be heard from far. And then within a few minutes, the storm arose. What began as some high winds and a smattering of rain was built into the worst storm in a generation. The wind didn't howl anymore, it screamed. The rain didn't fall it was driven, hard, merciless, torrential. The trees did not sway, they creak, bend and moan as their fine limbs are ripped away and their autumnal leaves became not confetti, but ammunition in the gale.
He felt as if the the rain would break its way inside the strong rockhold villa. Inside he felt a similar sensation, with the return of Adrij empty handed he knew he lost her again, but something about her location told him she would come back soon.
In the first few attempts they couldn't find a trace of her , whereas this was the first time they went close enough to find the remains of their tent.
She is a clever and intellectual woman, when she left remains of her , it means she wants to be found, yet he will have to work his way upto her.
So guys , I updated pretty soon this time. I don't know where it is leading to, but there sure is going to be a storm.
Stay tuned until the next update.
