A/N:
SUNBURN: A music festival held in India, celebrated on 28, 29, 30, 31st Dec.
During the bus journey, he had a lot of time to think. Think about how every year he had thrown tantrums at his mom for visiting Sunburn Music Fest.
But every time she would say,
"There is no way I will allow you to visit some city for what? Music?"
And he would say,
"Mom, please. It's my dream place to be at."
"No. I bought you this expensive music system thing. Listen as long as you want, but you are not permitted to some stupid music festival."
THAT's IT, he thought.
Throughout the year he saved so much money for December's festival and soon the December came, but neither his mom heard her son throwing tantrum for this music fest nor Swarit had known why he had saved so much money.
No, he hasn't given up on his dream...It's just his dream had taken a new form,
A form of LOVE.
Swarit disliked most of the people he met, but few he liked and then some he loved.
Among those he loved, this one was his newest hope. A hope that he thought would work out and it was working out. At least he thought it was working.
BUT IT WASN'T.
Swarit kept that thought aside and for the last time, he thought of his mom and how she would react when she wakes up in the morning and reads the NOTE he had left on his music system.
She might worry, but not that fake hope he had held for so long. And this year he wasn't gonna miss the fest for someone who cares less about him. He wanted to be himself for once and live his life with his solitude. So, he bought 4 days pass for this festival and the cheapest bus ticket.
It took 16 hours for him to reach his destined city.
PUNE.
But he had no idea how to reach to SUNBURN FESTIVAL, which was at the outer skirt of the city. Asking people he avoided. He got few stairs as he walked into a crowded city with his guitar hanging on the thin backpack he had with him.
Swarit noticed a group of foreigners talking about Sunburn as that's the only part he could catch from their alien language. But at least he knew where these people were headed and he just decided to follow them.
Following them, he noticed a guy about his age or a year older, in that group, glancing at him. Swarit stood right there as he knew following strangers was wrong, but he had followed them enough, as of where he stood there was a bus ready to leave for the SUNBURN.
He got on the same bus on which these foreigners have got into. And to his mischief, he had his seat just behind them. As he passed their seat he again noticed this guys eyes on him.
He avoided the stare and sat a seat behind them and damn he felt awkward to sit there. Those people were so loud and excited. Even Swarit was excited, but he was too fed up to show it. Also, he thought he was not so crazy to be crazy alone.
Soon the same guy, who has kept his eyes on Swarit has gotten up from his seat to do what?
To look right at Swarit.
Swarit had his eyes locked with this guy who soon sighed, and went back to his seat, leaving Swarit to wonder what on earth is wrong with that guy?
