Jungkook was feeling really good after getting done with his work.He was still feeling the adrenaline running through his veins, making him feel high, making him feel euphoric.
He felt like he owned everything.
Maybe he did.
He felt like a king. He felt amazing.
And how couldn't he? It was one of the least things that kept him entertained and powerful.
He liked the feeling he felt every time doing it.
No. He didn't like it, he loved it.
It made him feel strangely secure like in a motherly hug, but in the same time it made him the most powerful man. It made him feel respected by those who knew his real side.
And they weren't many.
He made sure not many people to know him.How could he let them? After losing the one he loved dearly, everything changed.
Everything changed after believing that if he shows his true self to his lover, he will accept him.
But he didn't.
And Jungkook was destroyed. His hope died like a flower living in a shadow, falling down, dragging his heart with it.
He made sure not to let his heart get the best of him. He knew that if he does so, he will open his heart up again and will get hurt.
So, why digging his own grave again?
This question was in his mind all the time.
This question was making him irritated.
Maybe because he didn't have the answer.
Or because he knew that once he sees his lover, he will soften, and that's the least thing he wanted to happen.Even though his lover is not exactly his lover anymore.
He left him.
He got his heart and ran away, taking it with him.
Leaving Jungkook with a big hole on the chest, exactly where his heart is.And when Jungkook thought they are deep in love enough to reveal their real selves, he was painfully wrong.
That only proved Jungkook that people's feelings change. People change.
Even if someone says 'I love you' on a daily basis, when they find the truth, they change their minds so easily.
Just like how his soulmate did.
But this was a long time ago.
Even though Jungkook remembered and felt it like it happened yesterday. It was an old but fresh memory that couldn't get out of his mind.
No matter how hard he tried to forget, he couldn't.
This was the main reason why he always wore a mask – to hide his side and true feelings.
And this was why he started doing something that he liked. That suited his true likings.
Because this thing didn't include any feelings or emotions.
