You'll never forget the day you recieved your Hogwarts letter in the mail. Your family had been so proud of you, and you were so excited to start at your new school. Like most young wizards attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, you did your school supply shopping at Diagon Alley in London. You got your wand at Olivanders, as well as got supplies at Amanuensis Quills, Flourish and Blotts, Portage's Cauldron Shop, and Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions.
Your summer passed quickly and it was time to head to your new home. After a tearful goodbye from your parents at Platform 9 and 3/4, you made your way onto the train and sat with other first years who would likely become some of your first friends.
Soon after arriving off the train, you are guided to the main hall for the sorting hat ceremony. You sit under the Sorting Hat, and it evaluates your core personality traits. Are you brave like a Gryffindor? Ambitious like a Slytherin? Loyal like a Hufflepuff? Or maybe studious like a Ravenclaw? All eyes are on you as you hear a voice call out:
"Gryffindor!": Turn to Chapter 1
"Ravenclaw!": Turn to Chapter 10
"Hufflepuff!": Turn to Chapter 17
"Slytherin!": Turn to Chapter 28
