Maya's pov

Ugh I swear school is literally the worst  mean beside me and farkle got out of his car and he walked over to my side and took my hand and we started walking to the school doors I mean we might have looked weird to some people I mean why are we holding hands of we are not together I always mean to ask farkle but like usual I'm afraid he will stop and I don't want him to.

As we walk into the school we head to our lockers there right next to each other but mine is closer so we go to mine first as were walking there I look over at farkle and then at our hands and kinda blush. We make it to my locker without to many stares as I am getting my books out of my locker I hear someone talking behind me.

"Hey Farkly what's up" omg Sarah freaking carpenter is seriously talking to him right in front of me I mean she is literally the worst always crushing on farkle even though she knows I like him.

 "Oh hey Sarah what's up you look great" he said I just rolled my eyes this happens almost everyday she starts talking and he complaints her then we go on with our lives but what I heard next crushed my soul.

So do you maybe I don't know go on a date tonight Sarah said please say no farkle.

 "Uh I don't know I mean I have to take some pictures for a scholarship thing at like five but Maybe after that we could definitely do something" he said wow I can't believe it he actually said yes you know what I don't need to listen to this anymore I just slammed my locker and walked away.

Farkle's pov 

Woah what just happened did I seriously say yes to Sarah when Maya was right behind me oh my God what have I done all I heard was a locker door slam shut then Maya walking away no I couldn't let her just leave I quickly said bye to Sarah then ran up to Maya 

"Maya wait up why did you just disappear" I said I saw tears in her eyes I always wondered if she ever liked me like I love her.

"uh yeah I just wanted to get to class early and you were busy with Sarah and I mean if you just want to go with Sarah I won't cancel on Lucas and we can both just go on dates and not do the photography thing today" she said oh God she is clearly lying I just don't know why.

she was walking away again but I could stop her this time "hey what are you talking about of course I want to spend time with you way more time then Sarah and I want to take pictures of you and be there for you when you need me to I always will make time fo" I was cut off by her hugging me  and I could hear her silently crying into my shirt "just please don't leave me I could never live without you and everyone else leaves but I need you to stay I need you in my life I can't love without you" she said in between sobs.

My heart was literally breaking hearing her say this just made me want to hold her and never let go she is just so fragile and I never want to be the one to break her, " Hey may if you want to hang out with Lucas today I completely understand". I said

She was giggling "you dork I already told you I want to spend time with you and if Lucas doesn't understand maybe he is not the one for me"she said she untangled her arms from me and looked at me and smiled God that smile those eyes and just everything about her is perfect.

" yeah so I got to get to class see you later"I said

 "Ok don't want to miss out on all of that sciencecy stuff you are such a nerd" she said giving me a smile

 "Yup always always and forever oh and don't fall asleep in class today try to stay awake"I said

"Haha you're you are so funny and I am a senior I don't need to pay attention anymore" she said walking away with her blonde locks bouncing.
