The club continued on without Monika.

There was no fight this time.  Natsuki and Yuri were actually happy to share ideas with each other.

Monika hated that.

She hated how Sayori was so much better than her.

She hated how happy Sayori made everyone.

She hated how broken she made everything.

She once again followed Sayori and MC home, and once again stuck with Sayori, who once again was able to continue on without her.

Despite feeling upset still, Monika decided to attempt to "chat" with her once again.

"... so.  Things are going well."

"At least Natsuki and Yuri aren't fighting anymore."

Monika rolled her eyes.  "Yeah.  You always keep everyone happy."

"I try to."

Sayori paused.  Who was she talking to?  She didn't hear another voice.  She didn't see another person.  But she felt the urge to still chat.

"... who's there?" she whispered.

Monika hesitated.

"... can you hear me?"

"I can't hear anything."

"How and why are you answering then?"

"I feel like it."

Monika stared at her again, while Sayori stared at the floor.  She almost seemed afraid.

"Who am I talking to?"

"Little sister, it's me."

"I don't have a sister. She's gone."

"I'm right here!"

"But no one's there."

Monika's frustration, guilt, and sadness grew.

"I'm right here, Sayori!"

"No one's there!"

Monika sighed and decided to stay quiet.  There was no point with this.  There was no point trying to talk if Sayori didn't know who she was talking to.

Her mind drifted back to Yuri and Natsuki reading together.  It really was nice seeing them get along, especially seeing they were so different.  Natsuki was into cute things, and Yuri was into—

... horror.

Ghosts.

An idea sparked in her mind.  Maybe she could find a way to get Yuri to help her.

"THAT'S IT!"

A bright smile spread across her face.

"Don't worry, little sister.  I have a plan."
