Maria POV
"Marrrrr~" a clearly drunk voice slurred from behind me.
"Hmmmm?" I hummed in amusement while I spun around on my bar stool to face the source of the voice.
"I love youuuuuu~" the drunken girl giggled, which was soon followed by a set of hiccups.
"I love you too, ya dork," I laughed, patting her back and trying to get her to breathe. Currently, I was the only sober one of our group. I mean, someone has to be able to drive our sorry asses home.
"That tickles," Peggy snorted.
"Really?" I asked, smirking evilly before shifting my hands to her more ticklish spots.
"Hey! S-stop!" she laughed. Suddenly, she burped in my face, which caused me to stumble back.
"How many drinks have you had? Your breath smells so strongly of alcohol that I can almost make out exactly what brand of beer you drank."
"Only four," she mumbled.
"Okay good-"
"Teen."
"PEGGY!" I gasped. She only chuckled and stumbled closer to me.
"Yay! You're mad!" she clapped.
"Why are you so happy that I'm mad?" I questioned in confusion.
"You're adorable when your mad!" Peggy cheers before falling into my chest. At this point, I was a flustered and blushing mess. Out of no where, I felt Peggy press her lips forcefully against mine.
This isn't right. She's drunk. I feel like I'm taking advantage of her I thought silently to myself. Alas, I was too weak to her charms to reject and obediently kissed her back. Humans require oxygen, though, so we eventually had to pull apart. A seductive smile spread across Peggy's face before she whispered something in my ear.
"You'd be even more adorable grasping at-"
"Can I get you two anything?" the bartender asked monotonously.
"N-no thanks," I stuttered, my face red as a tomato. "Peggy, lets go dance!"
"But I had other fun things in mind," Peggy pouted.
"Like dancing?" I laughed nervously. Before she could answer, I dragged her out onto the dance floor.
"I can't dance," Peggy complained. I sighed before shakily asking the question I was afraid to hear the answer to.
"What do you want to do then?"
"You."
"NOPE! NOT ON MY CHRISTIAN SERVER," a drunken Hercules Mulligan chuckled.
"Where did you come from?" I asked, silently relieved that Herc had come to my rescue.
"Your apartment," he stated bluntly.
"Alright, well, this has been fun, but we should probably get going," I exclaimed, clearly exasperated. "Round everyone up."
"Aw, but we were just starting to have some fun," Herc complained, his body drooping as he pouts.
"Going home so you can be there AND sober when your kids wake up is better," I stated, grabbing Herc and making him look me in the eye. My mom mode had officially been activated.
"Party pooper," he whined, sticking his tounge out at me. Still, he turned back into the sweaty throng of people to find everybody else.
"I don't want to go home," Peggy exclaimed, drapping herself over me.
