Everyone found out about Link, the new knight, has hurt the little boy. Link was kicked off the team and the role was given to James. Link couldn't speak or defend himself and the kid never said he was the mute. Link went to his room, feeling miserable and bad for the kid. He didn't deserve to be treated like how Link treated him. Link realized that when he gave James the knight outfit, he gave him Zelda's sword. That was the only thing he could physically remember her by. He had to get it back, without telling James of it's worth.

Link went into James' room. He was greeted with, "What do you want?" Link pointed to the sword, Zelda's sword. "You want my sword! No!! You decided to ruin your chance at becoming a knight! Now, I'm the knight and your in the lowest rank possible!" Link looked serious, he wouldn't let anything happen to his only piece of Zelda left. He punched James, took the sword, and ran. "Hey!" James yelled at Link to come back and give back the sword, but no words, no things, no feelings would let Link give the sword back.

Link ran to the cave, the cave where Zelda died. It'd been years since he last visited it. Everyone, but him, forgot about it and so no one knew where to look for him. He sobbed until he found a little, blue-shining crystal at the bottom of the hole. That's odd, no one else could be down there and get out without someone's help. He looked closer and it wasn't a crystal, it was a blue, shining person. He tried yelling to them, but as he knew, he couldn't speak. Suddenly, when he opened his mouth, his first words came out. "Are you okay?" It echoed in the large hole. He was surprised. " W-what? I... can talk?" The blue figure started floating up to Link. "W-who are you? Why can I suddenly talk?" The blue figure said nothing, expect for, "Why you can talk, I do not need to tell you. I will say my name and what I'm here for though. My name is Alana and that was very brave of you to steal that sword." Link became serious, "I didn't steal it! It was mine!" The blue figure continued, "... anyway, I am a spiritual guide and will help you on your journey." Link was confused, "Journey?" Alana told him...

"Long ago, about 100,000 years before you were born, the king of this new land cursed all who would inhabit it with a bad feeling. Obviously yours is that your friend, the one you call 'Zelda', died because of your hand. I can tell you now, that was meant to happen."

"Meant to?! You mean you spirits wanted it??"

"Let me finish, young Link, when your mother had you, she wanted to keep you, but was guilty about losing your older brother, Kyun, died in her stomach, she felt it was her fault. She didn't want to risk losing you... at least, by her hand. Zelda was meant to die, not to make you feel bad, but to give you a purpose on your journey... that you'd protect anyone you meet. You'd feel awful if they die, so protect them, don't leave them."

"What makes you think I want to go on a journey?"

"Well, you can't go anywhere else. You hurt a little boy and stole a special sword."

"Fair enough. But, where would I go?"

"Off into the woods, away from this land, anywhere you want or feel you have to go. The choice is yours."

Link ran out of the cave, past the guards, away from the town. He went with faith that he'd start a new life... a new life to protect, not attack.
